Try the power button. Find out which two wires are attached to the power button and remove those from the system board. Check the resistance with a multimeter, should be 1 with the button not pressed and 0 with it pressed. Or, you can short those two pins on the motherboard with a screwdriver and see if the computer comes on and stay on.
