It's supposed to keep your machine updated with current drivers or software updates.

Many people consider it "bloatware" and remove it, since Windows Update does most of the same driver monitoring.

My toshiba tecra laptop has changed the language from english to french.i want you to assist me change the language back to english

Click on the START button and then open the CONTROL PANEL. When that opens, click on the DATE, TIME, LAANGUAGES . . . link. Then click on Regional and Languages Options. There will be a drop down list about one third of the way down. Select English. You can also set your region in the field at the bottom of the window. Save by clicking close at the bottom.

Good Luck and let me know how it works for you.

I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro L10 laptop which now fails to detect the hard disk during a start up. It shows a PXE fault and won't proceed any further. The laptop is running XP.

Your computer is trying to boot from LAN. Somehow the boot order got changed in the BIOS. Access the BIOS and set the first boot device to the hard drive.

Refer to this article for further assistance.

How to install toshiba satellite u205-s5057 memory

There is an access panel on the bottom of the laptop remove that and just insert the stick of ram. Make sure that you are grounded when holding the ram as you can shock it with static electricity.
If you need further assistance don't hesitate.
Thank you,
