In that case if you can receive the call then there is display Problem you should change your display,
If your not receive any calls then please renew the Phone Software
Both Can be done only in Sony Ericsson service center Please Visit your nearest Sony Ericsson Service center they will provide you solution.

there is a problem with the Base unit (Charger), repair man said that the main IC should b changed which is too costy, better to buy another set.
The handset of the faulty unit can be paired with the new set.
in short the handset shows what it receives from the base (charger) so it has no fault and may be used with another set

The default pass key is 0000 but before entering the key in your mobile, you'll have to enter your wep 495 into a pairing mode which you can do by pressing & holding the call button till the led gets stable.

It would best if you return the phone from where you bought it since your are having multiple issues with a brand new phone, sounds unlikely so ask for a replacement.

hi for a total handset replacement if u are in warranty period u can claim this with the purchase bill in any of the sony ericsson authorised showrooms.. and they will replace u with new handset... thank u rate me!!!

there is no code to make a fact reset on SE fones. But if you have the usb cable you can do it with some free softs.

Contact your network for a warranty repair on the handset every mobile phone purchased has a warranty period of at least 1 year and this covers only manufacturing faults . when you contact your network you will be required to go through some checks just to make sure that it is faulty and that it was a manufacturers fault .

But before calling your network leave the phone swithced on and remove the battery and the sim card .
Put the battery back in without the sim .
Turn the phone on .
When the phone has loaded remove the battery whilst the phone is on .
Replace the sim and the battery and see if this has fixed your problem .  If not you will need a repair

When registering a new handset, it "kicks out" on of the other handsets when it registers. The only way to correct that problem is to default your base and register each handset again, one by one. You won't lose your handset settings, but you will lose your messages and greetings, so check them before doing so. To default your unit, get all your handsets and go to your base. Unplug the power from your base. Hold down the page/registration key on the bottom of the base and keep it held down while you apply power to the base. After applying power, keeping the button down, count to 20. Then release the button and get each handset. Register each handset, and they will number themselves 1 through 4.
