Question about Samsung Cell Phones
Reason for this is a short circuit in the board or the charger cable, try buying a battery charger for your battery and see what happen? you can get an after-market battery charger if you search online for it! I brought an used phone one time and charge it over night and when unplug it drop to a full bar to one bar of charge, figure out that the cable was shorted and so i ended up just buying an another battery and a battery charger and it now work fine!

I guess theres a problem with the board of your cellphone, there might be some components that has been shorted out and thats the reason why it drains battery so fast and it shutsdown upon connecting to the usb
