Question about Mitel Phones

1 Answer

For the Mitel Superset 420, how to daisy chain phones? I see a jack on the back in the middle with what looks like an icon that means you can link it with another phone. Is that correct and what type of jack is that? It doesn't look like RJ 45 or RJ11??.. where to buy the cord or jack?

That Jack is for a Direct Station Selection/ Busy Lamp Field ( DSS/BLF ) connection not to daisy chain phones together. It is an RJ11 connection but uses a six conductor cord instead of a four conductor. Hope this answeres your question.

Clock

Your clock on your telephone is displaying the "system time" which can be changed at the attendant console the receptionist uses. Go to the console and push the FUNCTION KEY, then press ATT FUNCTION, then press SET TIME, enter the current time using four digits, ie. 09:30, then press PM if applicable, then press SET. SET will only appear as an option if the time has been enteed correctly, you can use the back arrow button to make corrections. Then push EXIT.

Super set 4025 wont work

1) The phone cannot communicate with the switch. 2) Make sure your connections are good at both the jack that you plug the phone into and the block or connection coming from the Mitel switch. What Mitel Switch do you have?
