When i plug in to computer not recognizing

Try plugging it to a different usb port on the computer and turn it on from there. If it does not work, try with another computer. If all else fails, then Im afraid your MP3 player got fried due to not properly or safely removing it whenever it is plugged into the computer.

ok. do you have itunes. and that will but the music on it. you can go to my computer and open the ipod icon  (when it hooked up) and then you can drag things to it, that is how i put a lot of things on mine. but im pretty sure that you have to have it in enable disk mode to do that,

Player isnt connected to computer

Make sure you are running Windows XP & Windows Media Player 10.

If you have already rolled back from Media Player 11 to 10, make sure you also uninstall Media Player 11 Runtime fro the add/remove programs list.

I solved the problem on my win98se OS by using the drivers from GPX from another mp3 player ( MW6347DT ). Before, it did not find the pci to usb drivers, etc. Now, all the proper drivers are being found.
The MW6347DT driver for win98 can be found here:
