I would like to no how to use the euro key on the number 5

If the euro sign on your keyboard is above the number 5 simply press and hold shift while pressing 5 and it should type it.

The keyboard shortcut for the € symbol is Alt Gr + 5. However if this does not work, you may also enter the following key combination : Alt+0128.

You have to maintain the Alt key pressed while entering the 0128 code.

It is usually two keys to the right of the second alt key:

Hold down the 'ALT(ernate) GR(aphic)' key on the keyboard.
Press that "euro" key. Release it.
Release the ALT GR key.

Press the 'FN' key (sometimes called a 'function key', and, while holding it down, press the '5' key.

This will put the symbol on screen for you to print out.

To type the Euro sign in Windows, you press the alt key+0128. As for the Sterling pound symbol, you can type it by pressing the alt key+0163. You can have a look at this site where it lists ways to type different currency symbols:

Please note that you have to type the 4-digit code on the numeric keypad (do not use the normal number keys) while holding down the Alt key.

alt-gr should work. my euro key is with 4 and $ - try that.
