Re: screen showing J00
If this is the model that I think it is this one stumped me and come to find out it was related to toner. Is the toner bottle full or is the waste toner bottle full. It seems and agian this may not be the model, you have to put in new toner and the machine will run untill it tones up. During that time the machine will not work...Again i have seen this but do not know if this is the correct model, Good luck..

J00 is an unidentified jam. Means that a paper jammed in the machine and the user switched the machine off and then on again. So the machine lost the ability to inform the user where the jam is. As a result the user has to find out where the jammed paper or piece of paper is.
Never heard of this model but looks very similar to a Xerox.
3 places to look for
1-open tray and check no paper is behind or on the way up and got stuck.
2-open right side and check bottom lookin ginto the tray, you should see the rubber tires and a black lever sensor, is the sensor ok, is there any pieces of paper on it, is it stuck??
3-look at the fuser section (where it gets hot) can you see any paper there? sometimes they crumble up and get stuck. You willhave to take out the fuser unit and remove the paper.
Do you have two trays or four trays for the paper? If you have four and the display is showing the bottom door is open... turn the copier off and disconnect the bottom two trays and turn it back on..... Just use the top two paper trays.. Or the problem is that a acturator is broken off the side door, look for any broken pieces of plastic. Also, recheck for any jamed paper left in the copier.Good Luck
Hi there have you tried the door at the back of the machine as there maybe a piece stuck in the fuser unit. If not open the back door and check that there is a small black lever in the middle of the two rollers sticking up as this is the sensor arm that determines that there is a paper jam or not. If this is still there then the paper will be stuck just after the paper cassette within the paper path.
That is the problem, machine will show printer jam if paper feed rollers fail to pick up paper when requested, your machine sounds like it needs new paper feed roller or you can clean the paper feed roller with a slightly! damp cloth.
If no jam light shows when power is turn on and machine comes to ready and then you send a job to printer and it then shows jam then it is the feed roller or sometimes the feed clutch
If on the other hand it always show jam then there is or a switch is stuck.
