Not really, but there are a lot of T1s with dead CCDs and boards on ebay - you could get one (for like $10-15 and replace the whole lens unit). Hope this helps (somehow).

How To Repair Canon IXY 810is

Could be several reasons. The front lens is dirty. That can be cleaned with a lens pen. Or a soft cloth, the same as you should use for your glasses.
It could be there is mould in the lens system. You can see this when looking into the lens, passed the front lens. That can't be fixed, without replacing the whole lens.
And when the camera is dropped on the lens, it could be the elements are not aligned anymore. Same as with mould, only an expensive repair could cure that.
I hope you did not try to clean the front lens with any fluid like alcohol, because that is irreparable to.

Pictures ar blurry

If you did not drop the camera. It won't be the lens. That said, please have a close look to the lens. Is the front element clean? you could clean it with a soft cloth that is used for glasses too. But also try to look into the lens. Sometimes, when a lens is left is a moist envirement, mold can grow between two elements. The glass you see inside is not bright anymore and gets a grayish look.
When the battery is becoming old, you only can make less pictures with one charge, till it is old and stops. Before the camera could warn you the power is running low.

My 2 year old sprayed kitchen cleaner over my plasma screen and it stained is there any thing i could do to restore it back ?

No, the screen or glass front is a part of the the entire display panel which costs as a part more than the set did when new.

The coating on the screen is photo chromic and anti glare in nature much like the coating on expensive camera lens.

I had a used one with similar damage and the only thing short of replacing the panel was we used very fine rubbing compound and carefully removed ALL the coating on the screen.

Picture was brighter but any glare from indirect light showed a loss of brightness.

Either live with it or replace the set. Most sets in the owner manual have warnings about what not to use when cleaning a screen.

The glass on my 18-200 lens was cracked on the very edge of the lens. I was wondering how expensive is it to replace the glass?

hi there...
so sorry to hear that your lens was cracked...
the reparation will costs you expensive enough, and i suggest you buy a new one
if the lens still working, you still can use it taking pictures, but the picture will need some correction using photoshop or any other graphic software

thanks

The lens cracked. The camera still works but the picture shows cracks. Is it possible to repair it?

The same thing happened to mine. Customer support was useless, telling me I voided my (expired) warranty by breaking it, and that it is not a replaceable part.

Here's the fix that worked for me:

If you look closely at the metal bezel around the lens, you will see a seam between two metallic parts, near the front surface of the lens.Take a knife and gently work it around that seam until you separate the two pieces. They are held together with doublestick tape, so they come apart easily. That will expose the lens which is actually not a lens at all, it's a window; a flat glass disk. Take the tip of a pointy knife and gently pry the glass piece(s) off. Again, this is held on with double-stick tape so it will come off easily. If you can find a glass disc that is the same diameter and thickness, you can place that in. The disc is a 20mm diameter by 1mm thick. You can probably order a replacement watch crystal from somewhere like this place:

http://www.esslinger.com/roundmineralglasscrystalx1mmthick.aspx

They cost less than a dollar (not including minimum orders, shipping, etc), and they are probably more scratch/crack resistant.

If you don't want to bother replacing it, your camera is still fixed, just a bit uglier and vulnerable to dust. The front lens has no optical significance, it's just a dust cover and/or a design element.

The metallic bit you took off is little more than a piece of tin foil.
Had they used a more substantial part that could divert shock instead of directly transferring it to the glass, there would be far fewer cracked lenses out there. But that would probably hurt their "go buy a new one" repair policy.

Broken glass on the lens

Are you kidding? A camera lens are a group of various lenses inside. I don't think it's repairable, but I'd say take it to a local photography store and you can get free advice. I think I understood you, but anyone would have to see the damage in person. From here, I'd say you are in bad luck...it's a goner. Also cameras are not designed to take a big fall like that. There is probably more damage than just the lenses.

Polarized lens

They definitely work. I just got one in the mail today for an FZ5. Try taking a picture through a glass window to see if it elimates the glare and reflections. This is an way to test the filter.
