Okay first try removing the soap try and cleaning it,secondly get a jug of water and partly fill the softner tray, at this point it should automaticly drain if not then looks like the Solonoid coil valve is at fault quite easy to replace cost of parts around £20......Good luck, hope the first part solves this......
Hiya,
there is only a few reasons for the softener not to filter through firstly i would surgest removing the drawer that the softner goes in & flushing it through with hot water this will help dislodge anything that may have built up inside, sometimes the fabric softner section has a top part that comes off if so remove this & flush both sections, if you can see a black sludge then it is just build up that is blocking the path stopping the softner getting through.
have you lifted up the conditioner flap on the drawer, you would of seen a long plastic tube sticking up, this tube gets blocked from time to time resulting in the softner not going into the machine. if you have cleaned this tube when you took the drawer out, then the only other cause is the solonoid vavle is the fault. this is easily replaced.

Remove soap drawer completely from washer, and thoroughly clean all parts of it, paticularly the conditioner compartment..
Get a piece of stiff wire, and make a right angled bend in the end of it, then poke the wire into all the holes in the top of the soap drawer compartment to clear any possible blockage.
This should solve the prob.

Thankyou.
The inlet to the conditioner compartment is probably blocked.
Get a thin piece of flexible wire and make a right angled bend on the end about 1" long, and poke it into all the holes u can see in the top of the dispenser compartment, particularly the ones at the front right side.
This should solve the prob.
Plz rate this solution .
Thanks
take the soap dispenser drawer out and clean the drawer and the underneath the drawer, then clean the inside of the machine where the drawer fits into to. It could be caused by a build up of soap.
This problem is caused by the compartment not filling up sufficiently to start the siphon action. First ensure that the drawer is clean, especially the siphon tube then, with the drawer removed, check the top of the compartment. You will find various holes that let in the water, make sure these are clean and not blocked with mould. Clean out with mould remover and wire then run a cycle with no washing or softener/detergent in the machine.
