You might try contacting Power Products http://www.powerproducts.com/ They may have something available, or be able to build them for you.

Columbia walkie talkie wont connect to the other one

Hi,
Are you trying to connect a Columbia to another Columbia or to anther Make of walkie talkie radio?

No two makes are quite the same and slight differences can make all the difference, even if they were the same brand/make, different models can also impact on connectivity.

I hope this answers your query

Cheers,
Peter

I have a pair of walkie talkies, rechargable, but one of them wont work with the battery pack. Both battery packs work in the other one, but this one will only work with 5 AAA batteries. Any ideas out

If your rechargeable battery pack takes a different battery tray than the alkaline, you possibly have a bad connection in the battery tray. If they appear to use the same battery contacts, look at where the rechargeable battery touches compared to the alkaline. There may be a problem in this area. Clean all contacts with a pencil eraser to insure your radio is free of debris on the contacts.

Best regards.

Does columbia telecommunications group, inc have a website and if so what is it?

The last known contact information for Columbia Telecom is as follows:

Headquarters Location
174 Milbar Blvd., Farmingdale, NY 11735, United States
(631)501-5000
http://www.columbiatel.com

The bad news is, the company itself doesn't seem to exist anymore, other than bad consumer reviews and issues with company practices. The website is no longer valid either.

Looking for a charger/adaptor for a toy RC car

Buy a "universal charger" wall wort. Most will chargs 1.5 VDC to 12 VDC in steps adjusted by a slide switch. The polarity of the tip is switchable from + to -, so be careful to switch the tip to the right polarity for your radio. Try to find one that has close to the same current output that the original charger had. Good Luck,
Longshorts.

Manual and battery charger needed

I'm still looking for the manual (?).. it's more of a pamplet as I recall.

The battery charger is...
AC/DC Adapter Model 0750200DF
Specs are:

120 V AC 60 Hz to 7.5 /v 200ma

If you can't find the right adapter, you can probably get one of the universal adapters that will work.

I also recommend that you replace the batteries with "Brand New Original Pair Battery For FreeWalker RD-810, RD-820, RD-008, RD-820 Features
***Brand New Original Pair Battery For FreeWalker RD-810, RD-820, RD-008, RD-820***

Much more talk time than the original batteries.
