Re: webcam not working
Biren the unfortunate problem with Vista and this is industry wide is when you upgrade to Vista some equipment and software as well as the drivers for on board items may not work and if they do not provide the drivers from the manufacturer for Vista you will have to go back to XP. Vista has had nothing but issues since it was released and no one who is in the industry is happy with it, Take care.

Your lenevo IdeaPad S10 doesn't support windows 7 nor Windows Vista, so no drivers is available for your webcam. You might be able to install Windows 7 but only Windows XP drivers are available from IBM site.
If your system has atleast support Windows Vista and the drivers for windows vista might work with windows 7 as 90% of the drivers meant for Windows Vista works fine with windows 7,
Check out the chipset of your webcam and go to the manufacturer site and check if any updates are available from their side.
Are You sure You've got installed a correct driver? The original drivers are normally placed at Your original install disc. And how You restore a n operation system on Your laptop? Probably You've not installed all chipset drivers and the mainboard cannot work properly with Your cam. Restore system from shipped disc and everything will be fine. Don't use drivers downloaded.
at this location ya will find the driver for vista and just reinstall the camera ...it has to work ...probably it came with a xp driver and ....
if you had windows xp or something other than vista make sure your webcam will work with vista if not you'll have to get a webcam that will work with vista 90% of programs will not work with vista unless it has vista on it sorry for the bad news
Dear anshuman2vir, go to www.microsoft.com, try the all download tab, let microsoft scan your computer and then download the latest driver that match your webcam, don't forget to put the 'vista support' on your keyword in search bar on microsoft site. enjoy!
You need to download the drivers for your webcam for windows Vista. Go here and choose your computer. In the right box, choose Acer Orbicam (logitech). That is the vista driver. Download and install it. There you go :c)
