Tip

My 2910 player has similar issue. The tray gets stuck on eject. Started with not...

1)just open the player
2)remove the rubber belt connecting the dc motor
3)you can open the disc tray now
4)if there are any dust particles or obstacles in the door way just clear them up by using the cloth(dry cloth preferred)
5)if you have any greasy material like vaseline, oil, etc then just put that in the door for easy movement of the disc tray

6)if needed change the rubber belt which is connecting the dc motor

7) just reconnect the rubber belt again and then just fit all screws that s all

what s more your player s disc tray will start ejecting like the previous how you were using..

any doubts you can reply me
i am always here to assist you
thank you
bye

The dvd drawer on my BD-HP16U is stuck in closed position. The screen display "hold" when I push the eject button.

Try inserting a small pin through the hole beneath the insertion cabin, after pressing the eject button. If you don't have such a hole, Push the eject button and tap hardly on the top of the player. The drive will come out in two or three attempts.

Dvd player will not open disc, display lock

Sound like it either has one or two problems, the door is stuck and or the door eject motor has failed. Look in the front to the player for a small paperclip like hole, and use a paper clip to manual eject the and engage the loading mechanism usually located under the door for most cases. Check you manuals troubleshooting section for manually ejecting a CD..

Please leave comment.

How do you manually get the disc to eject? the

There is a small hole just below the disc door. Straighten a paper clip or some like object and push it into that hole. It should release the tray. The clip will go in an inch or so before it contacts the door release. This given that it is not jammed by an improperly inseted disc or something. In that case you will need to pull the drive out and take the top off. Good luck

A dvd is stuck in my DVR how do I get it out the tray will not open

If you take a look at your computer's DVD or CD drive tray, it should have a tiny round hole. Look close because it's only about 1/16-inch in diameter. Does your DVR disc tray have a similar tiny round hole?

This hole is for ejecting the tray if there is no power. You take a paper clip and unfold and straighten it and insert it in the hole. It should go in about 1/2 to 1 inch before it hits the unlatch mechanism. You shouldn't have to push in very hard to unlatch. If it does unlatch, the tray will pop out about 1/4" and you simply pull it out by hand the rest of the way.

I hope this helps you out.

Rca dcr8060n dvd tray will not open

Your kid did not damage it, try this, apply pressure slowly to the top of the unit about 3 inches from the front of the unit centered above the tray. Press the eject button, I am betting it will open. They seem to have used really crappy dvd drives in this unit and the top magnetic mount does not release cleanly, therefor causing the unit to hang when the door attempts to open.

Eject tray belt broke

Opening the DVD player tray is not as hard as you would think.

1. Remove three black screws holding the outer cover on the unit (located on rear of unit)

2. Carefully remove front panel trim by gently prying six clips (3 on top, 3 on bottom) away from unit and pulling panel away from unit.

3. Locate opening at the front of the DVD player that houses a larger white gear.

4. Using a finger, gently move gear until DVD tray begins to move outward.

5. Continue until DVD is fully ejected.

6. Try plugging the unit back into AC outlet and attempt to Open/Close the tray using the provided button on the Front Panel Circuit Board.

7. Reverse steps above to put unit back together.
