Question about Microsoft Windows Server Standard 2003 for PC

Booting process Sir, Could you please explain me after switching on the PC , till we get windows screen in between what is the happening .

First you get POST (power on self test) where hardware is initialized, then any initialization of RAID if it is installed and enabled, then verifying DMI pool data, where it gets boot information from the boot device specified in the cmos, then the operating system loads.

    Post is power on self test, when the computer checks all the hardware and assigns IRQs (interrupt request numbers), which is how the processor talks to the hardware. RAID is Redundant Array of Inexpensive/Independent Disks, which is how a lot of servers assure that no data is lost in the event of a hard drive failure.

Win XP - The keyboard and mouse hang just before the login screen. Even with the windows installation CD they hang just before the options screen. The same thing happens with Wintel and Roadster live CDs....

Try booting to XP with a last Known good configuration.
After you switch on the computer, keep tapping the <F8> Key on the keyboard., you will see a list of options, select "Last known good configuration" and hit the Enter key...., Hope this works

Can't get out of safe mode

While booting ur system press F8 initially when system turned on you will get booting options .Select Normal and Enter you can able to boot in normal mode.

I believe you can . You will need a seperate Windows server as well as a seperate Linux server. Than you need a desktop program that will let you get into both servers at the same time.

Uninstall the deepfreeze in vista

  • Booting Computer From CD use Windows XP Installer
  • After coming up with part to Enter Setup, Press Enter then F8 and await some moment
  • then selected R to repair Windows ( Repair Setup)
  • Hereinafter continue Install windows untill finish.
    1. Now prepare the Deepfreeze v.6 of and double click
    2. will appear “Uninstall Deepfreeze” windows and process uninstall till finish.
    3. Done……
  • In this time i still not known more effective way to remove DeepFreeze 6.0. if there is a way of more effective please share here… icon_biggrin.gif
