Found web site for jvc in uk they have recall on camcorder as its a fault is to do with the camcorder showing "lens cap still on" they are repairing it free.

Just output via the AV jacks, and use a TV/Video input card or USB dongle. You can then Play the DVR, and Record on the PC, With Video Recording Software, through the Video Input. On your chosen device. You can get Component, or Composite Video IN. Audio is in Stereo. Then you will be able to be able to use your camera again... ?
Your camera can not load mechanism completely(E01). Could have problem with mechanism or the mode motor itself fails. By the way, serial number is not necessary. Good Luck
