TV will not turn on.....Power light will not turn green and no picture.....Tv started to turn off by itself previously....Any help would be greatly appreciated Our TV started out turning itself off and on 6 months after we bought it (not a huge deal since it was almost instantly back on) now however it will not turn on at all. Any idea how to fix or how much it will cost. Is it just a new on/off switch?
If your TV is less then a year old, I would suggest to contact the manufacturers to get it repaired under their warranty.
If no warranty on the TV, It seems like the power supply in not supplying enough current due to defective capacitors or any other part(s) are defective.
Let me know if you need further assistance.

Disconnect the AC power cord from the back of the tv for at least 3 minutes. Then re-connect the AC power cord and turn on the TV.
i hope this works

You can also try a hard reset: Unplug TV from AC mains and remove all cables from TV. Wait about 30 minutes and replug to AC power and redo the cabling. Switch on the TV and see if it works..
If this did not work you contact the tv company as the tv is under warranty as its 6 months old or If you would like to attempt a DIY, you will need a service manual to guide you. You can find one here:

Good luck...

Sounds like you have a power issue, or maybe the power switch is faulty. check that.
