I needed a program to get my start menu extended to all of my screens which I got 3 - 22" lcds now.

well I found the program myself

Thanks for trying though but did you actually read the problem?

Just needed the task bar to be added into the extra screens, they working fine otherwise.

  • Ekse Jul 18, 2008

    TaskBar (freeware)

    • It adds second taskbar to the extended desktop on Monitor 2

    • It can add third taskbar to the second Extended monitor if you have 3 monitors setup.
    • It shows only applications from that Monitor

    • It hides the applications on Monitor 2 and 3 from normal Windows Taskbar
    • Adds a Move to Monitor button to windows applications (XP).
    • Add Text Clipboard Extender
    • Buttons to roll-right the taskbar (good for full screen Remote Desktop)
    • Very carefully written, I don't want to crash my own desktop!

I have these 3 x 22" lcds on my home computer.

Right click the desktop, go to display properties. Clear the box which says "Extend my Desktop to this monitor" for the second monitor.

If your video card has it's own device manager (in the lower right hand corner of the task bar), you would find a similar setting.

Ekse, I'm sorry I didn't completely understand your problem. You didn't say how many screens you had - usually when people have multiple screens, they mean two.

I assume that if you have 3 or more screens, you may be in a class room environment - if that's true there are some very good programs for sharing a screen with a large number of desktops.

I'm glad you found a solution that works, and thanks for the "Thanks for Trying" feedback.

Why is picture divided into six?

Have a look at the picture settings in the menu options. It seems that you have accidently changed it to multiscreen. Select normal and then OK. It should revert back to a single screen.

To use this tweak follow the steps below:

Speeding Up Start Menu Button in Windows XP

Speeding up the Start Menu (Windows XP)
Most of us are experiencing delay (slow) opening the StartMenu when we click over it to open the All programs, and others features whichare attached to it. We can speed up this by tweaking the registry withoutaffecting to the operating system. This default speed can be adjusted with aquick Registry modification.
To do this, go click run – type regedit, the registry editor window will open, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl panelDesktop
HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl panelDesktopMenuShowDelay.
Double click MenuShowDelay to open, you’ll notice that thevalue is 400, now set it to 0 (zero), click OK and close the registry editor, now check the speed of the whether it has taken effect or not. The Start MenuSpeed should have been changed to full speed by now.
For better reference, I've included the graphical representation to perform this tweak step by step:
Try this yourself and enjoy the speed of the Start Menu in windows XPwithout spending a penny or installing additional applications. Good Luck.

Have a green rectangle about 2 inches by 5 inches in center of screen with yellow letters that say, input signal mout of range. It is A hanns g hg281d monitor

Restart your computer,
and keep hitting the F8 key until a "start-up" menu
(white text over a black background) is displayed.
Choose "Safe Mode" and let Windows start.
Reset the screen-resolution to 800-by-600, and 60 Hertz refresh-rate.
Restart your computer, normally,
and then "tweak" the screen-resolution and refresh-rates that are "optimal" for your monitor.

I have a Hitachi model 50V69A and have large yellowish spots on screen. It is most noticeable when watching programs with light background, like hockey games..

I havw a simialr problem mine is a blue stripe toward the center of the screen. The problem is most likely from the blue lens on mine or the yellow on yours. I was able to adjust it out somewhat and I am still tweaking it by using a setting in the technical menu called stripe.

You can access the technical menu by pressing the fowllowing on your remote:

Hope this helps
