Question about Canon NP 6035 Copier

1 Answer

Just another question

I am not sure if I completely understand. I am not sure what key you want me to push or what the result should or should not be to decide that the control panel is the problem.

Try pushing any key especially the number keys, if you push firm enough most of the times taht # will show up, if it does then you knpw the problem is the keypad.

The key pad is connected directly to the main board, so the only 2 things are the main board or the panel. Since the machine goes to ready then the keyboard is the problem !!!

Could be a short in the keypad, could be another key is stuck down Check all keys to make sure they are ok ( you should be able to feel a clicking when pressed down, could be the connection

PRINT IS FINE FIRST HALF OF PAGE, BUT QUICKLY FADES/WEAKENS LAST HALF OF EACH PAGE

You need to clean your print head nozzles. Find menu on your printer and push the button then use the up and down arrows to navigate the options. Find the one that says "maintenance" and push "ok" or "enter" from your printers key pad. Then find the "clean print head or nozzle" option and again push the "ok or enter" button on your printers keypad. Follow the instructions to complete the cleaning and print a test page to make sure your problem is solved. If not, repeat the cleaning until the ink flows through your print head correctly.

No matter what i do the paper keeps getting jammed before it comes out... It looks like it's getting hang up on something by the front rollers... This is really making me very mad this morning....

Hi,
I understand your frustration. Try this solution.

* Push down the purple paper lever located on the right side of the multi-purpose sheet feeder and pull the jammed paper upward and out of the feeder.
* Open the scanner cover by pulling the lever located below the control panel, toward you and lifting the cover. Make sure the cover is completely open. Check to see if any paper is left in the paper path.
*
Close the scanner cover.
*
Remove the paper in the multi-purpose sheet feeder. Adjust the guides in the sheet feeder to the position for the paper size you are using. Fan the paper well, push down the paper lever. Load the paper with the lever down. Make sure the print side is toward the fax machine and the paper level is stacked below the paper mark. The feeder can hold up to 200 sheets of paper (20lb paper) or up to 10 envelopes.
* Turn the power back on.

I hope this helps you.

My printer is set up wirelessly and will not print. How can I check to make sure it is online?

On the printer itself push the setup button (the one with the little wrench)
Then push the down arrow key until it network is highlighted and press ok.
Then view network settings should be highlighted. Press ok.
Finally push down arrow key to WIRELESS network settings. The main thing you are looking for is the IP address. If it says Not applicable, 0.0.0.0, or anything starting with 169 then the printer is not on the network.

If it is off the network you should be able to hit the cancel key (red X) a couple times to take you back to main screen.
On the printer itself push the setup button (the one with the little wrench)
Then push the down arrow key until it network is highlighted and press ok.
Then push down arrow key to wireless setup wizard. Press ok.
It will search for your network and ask for the password if you have one (it is case sensitive). When completed it will be on the network.

Hi can you help ? My zebra TLP 2824 printer keeps printing out of alignment. I reset the printer by holding the feed button while powering on but instead of printing dump info the label moves for a while...

If you are using a ribbon remove it and perform a calibration, hold down feed key for 2 seconds as you power on, release key and wait for it to complete its calibration, when it has stopped shifting labels (wait for 10 secs to be sure) HIT THE FEED KEY to exit dump mode. If it has successfully calibrated it will feed a label each time you hit feed key. Re-install ribbon, make sure ribbon is pushed formly onto drive sprockets and then re-run the calibration..

If this does not fix problem. download firmware to latest version. This will automatically reset printer to factory default condition.

TLP2848Z blinking red, will not print

1: Is it a TLP2844 or a TLP2844Z.

Operationally they are completely different printers. TLP2844 uses ELP (Eltron Programming Language. but TLP2844Z uses ZPL (Zebra Programming Language). You need to calibrate the printer to the labels.

Calibration:
If its a TLP2844. Load media. Connect power.
Hold down feed key, power on, count one, two, release feed key. The printer will go through a calibtation routine and print config label. IMPORTANT - When it prints this label you must press the feed key and see the message OUT OF DUMP. Your printer will now be calibrated. Check this by hitting the feed key a few times and printer will feed one label each time feed is hit.

Calibration:
If its a TLP2844z.

Load media. Turn printer on and wait for green light (Approx 1 minute)
Press feed key and keep it pressed until green light blinks once, then twice, now release feed key.

Hp PSC 1610 all in one printer

I may need a little more information to understand the exact nature of the problem. First, it sounds like the printer worked normally until the computer was rebooted, and then it stopped working completely...is that correct?

Do you get any error messages, either on the printer's display panel or on your computer? There should be a printer icon in the bottom right corner of your computer's screen. Does it look "normal" or is there a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark in it?

Frankly, rebooting the computer shouldn't result in the printer becoming completely non-responsive. My first suggestion would be for you to unplug the printer's power cord, wait about 10 seconds, and then plug the printer's power cord back in. Leave all of the other cables attached (USB connection to the computer and such). Make sure the computer is on and running while you do this.

Let the printer completely power up. It has to go through a start up routine, more or less the way your computer does. See if you can get a connection afterwards. Sometimes a glitch will occur and rebooting the printer will clear it.

If this doesn't do the trick, please post back more details about the nature of the problem. Thanks.

Just push them in horizontally ie. completely straight. You have to push pretty hard - just make sure you don't overdo it - until they go no further.
