I hadnt used my fuji s3 Pro for a while ( 3 Months) and when I went to use it... the I put fresh batteries in it and I keep getting low battery and error message, can you help me?
I had/have the same problem, it happens immediately after the shutter closes. The picture ends up recorded but the camera shuts itself down claiming low battery. New batteries, rechargable batteries, doesn't matter. This camera was used but worked great at purchase. It continued to work great for over a year before this problem surfaced.I had/have the same problem, it happens immediately after the shutter closes. I had this problem yesterday. I discharged and recharged several sets of batteries and the set I had the problem with continued to with the one shot problem the other sets workrd fine.
Ive prob with battery, but it seems to coincide with when I take camera outside (its winter and cold and dull) and am using shutter speeds of over a second on iso 100. the batteries just die so quick! i end up having to go wide open on iso 1600, not great for landcapes!!!
Sounds like you might not be using the right type of battery. I had a Finepix A820 which did exactly the same thing so I went out and bought some rechargeable 2500mAh NiMH AA batteries and the problem was solved instantly.
Even special batteries designed for use in digital cameras did not work. Only the rechargeable ones did the trick.

Digital cameras are famously demanding on batteries, and the early Fuji ones were notorious. You must use good alkaline batteries or better, a set of high capacity NiMH rechargeables. Zinc or "long life" batteries just aren't up to the task, and they can leak and cause corrosion.
NiMH batteries with a capacity of 2700mAH are available, and these will last longer, per charge, than name brand alkalines, as well as being rechargeable. You can buy these with a charger fairly cheaply now (though they obviously cost more than disposables). You will probably want two sets, one to be on charge while you use the other.
The battery cover for S3Pro is attached to the battery tray which holds four AA batteries. You should be able to buy this part from your local Fuji shop.
Part number is
BU01990-100 BATT CART ASSY
That's the problem. It works fine in another camera so the card is optimized for that camera. To optimize it for your Fuji S3 pro, you need to format it in the camera. This will erase it so download any pics first.
When you say in low light, I take it you mean when on a high ISO setting. The S3Pro does have some limitations in this regard. One reviewer stated:
"As expected, our test images are clean and relatively noise free from
ISO 100 through ISO 800. At ISO 1600, noise has a significant impact
on images. To keep it in check, Fujifilm applies relatively heavy
detail-smearing noise reduction to JPEGs. You can bypass this by
shooting raw, but then your images will be fairly noisy. All in all,
we'd rate the S3 Pro's high-ISO image quality to be middle-of-the-pack
among current dSLRs."
You have done the right thing, so far. That which I would first have suggested. Congratulations! You would be surprised how many persons ignore the need for fresh batteries.
Yes, the camera should now be reset, and if that fails, service is required to make certain of your investment.
However, the battery must first be determined to be an actual Fuji battery, and if not, this is not your fault.

Recommendation for Use of Genuine Lithium Ion Rechargeable Battery Pack for FUJIFILM Digital Cameras
Thank you for using Fujifilm Products.
It has been our policy to recommend that the genuine Fujifilm
rechargeable battery pack be used for Fujifilm digital cameras that use
a battery pack.
However, it has been confirmed that there are certain counterfeit
battery packs available in the market that look very similar to a
genuine Fujifilm rechargeable battery pack.
Some of these may not comply with safety standards, they may cause
serious problems, such as overheating, leaking, bursting, or fire.
For your safety, we would like to remind you to only use genuine
Fujifilm rechargeable battery packs for Fujifilm digital cameras.
Please note that Fujifilm will not accept responsibility for any camera
problems, accidents, and damage of any nature that may occur due to use
of non-genuine Fujifilm battery packs.
We appreciate your kind understanding and cooperation in this regard.

the lithium batteries power the flash and some of the metering. But if they drop below a certain power, the camera dies.
The F33 error is probably the accidental movement of the aperture ring on the lense. If you get the error, check the aperture ring is set.
I have Fuji S3 pro and One body locked up during a reception and ERR displayed. 1st i turn off and on . it is work ok. 2nd time it happen again and still show ERR on dispayed. no way to reset. my camera out of warranty. estimate cost for repair 400$ per manifacture.
