I have iPod Nano 2Gb . If I play music each 10sec music stop and start new song. I can not arrive to eliminate this mistake.

This worked for me.

1. Locate the actual song file. You can check this in iTunes, use the 'Get info' command, in the summary tab, there's a 'where' item at the bottom. Mentally note that this is 'file#1'.

2. Once you've find the file, make a copy of this file in some other folder. Or maybe even on the desktop. Mentally note that this is 'file#2', which is a copy of 'file#1'. Do not rename.

3. Go to iTunes, and delete the problematic song. If iTunes ask to remove the file, click 'yes'. If iTunes doesn't ask, manually remove the file from the original folder. You are removing 'file#1'.

4. Once this is done, move back the copied file, ie 'file#2', to location where 'file#1' was.

5. Add the song back into iTunes. iTunes will treat it as a new song. You will lose some data like Rating or Play Count. You might need to add some details like track number and so on.

6. Sync your iPod. Done.

You have to do this steps to every problematic song. Tedious, yes. But it's better than the need to re-encode the files.

Download music to ipod

In order to put music onto your iPod, follow these steps:
1. Download iTunes from http://apple.com/itunes. iTunes is used to manage your music library, as well as handle the transfer of music from your computer to the iPod. 2. Install iTunes. 3. Add music to your iTunes library by selecting the 'File' menu at the top of the screen, then clicking 'Add music to library'. Browse your computer for music files and click 'Choose' in the dialog box. 4. Connect your iPod to your computer with the included Dock Connector cable. iTunes will recognize the iPod and walk you through setting it up and transferring music.

I have bought a ipod person i bought it from forget to give me password for it.what should i do

Hi,

Here is the process for resetting an iPod.

You need a computer, iPod cable, and iTunes installed.

Resetting your iPod will erase all of the content on it (songs, apps, etc)

Step 1) Plug your iPod touch to your PC or Mac with the USB cable and start iTunes

Step 2) Hold the sleep/wake button and the menu button on the iPod at the same time and keep them pressed until the restore screen appears on the iPod

Step 3) Release the buttons

Step 4) iTunes will detect that the iPod is in recovery mode and will prompt you to confirm you want to reset (remember it will erase everything)

Please rate my answer if this helps.

Many thanks,

Chris

Unable to download files from apple itunes

ITunes does not support this player. To put music on the player you must copy the files from the folders where the music files are on your computer to the device mounted on your computer.

My computer says my itouch is a camera

This is normal.
Step 1: To sync songs, videos, and apps, get iTunes from the Apple website. http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Step 2: Double click the file after it has downloaded and just keep hitting Next.
Step 3: Connect your iPod once it is done installing (the screen with the finish button).
Step 4: Just follow the on-screen instructions, your iPod should now be set up.

Trying to download pics to ipod touch

you can make a folder on your computer, then add your photos into this folder, open iTunes and set the photo destination to the photo folder. And then sync your iPod with iTunes, that's all.

If you want to know how to convert video and put DVD movie on iPod, I think this step by step guide would help you

Used ipod wont recognise in itunes

If you are on a PC the most common reason for iTunes not recognising is because of driver corruption. The easiest way to resolve this is to download the very latest version of it from the Apple site and reinstalling it. If that doesnt work, reset the device by holding down Menu and Select until the Apple logo appears then hold down Select and Play together until the display reads 'OK to Disconnect'. Now connect it to your PC. iTunes should now recognise it and you should click the 'restore' button on the ipod main page of iTunes.

All the best

Steps to Add/Remove iTunes

Control Panel. Add/Remove programs, Select Itunes. Computer may want to restart.

Reinstall ITunes. Computer may restart.

Go into ITunes. Select add folder. Select your mp3 folder from your H drive. Library will rebuild and for that many songs it will take about 30 minutes to do. Make sure that when you purchase new songs that the folder is mapped to your external hard drive as well. I made that mistake of not doing it and it made a big mess.

Make sure your IPod is set for manual music management.

Click on one of your purchased songs from ITunes and login to your account using your ITunes user id and password. That will enable you to play your purchased musice from ITunes. If you have activated your ITunes account to play on more than 5 computers, you will have to get a hold of tech support to reset your computer count.

That should fix the problem.
