I have a TomTom One 3rd edition come into my workshop for replacement of a broken 3.5 inch touch display. The part number on the unit is LMS350GF08-005. I seem to be unable to find a vendor for the part. TomTom say they cannot supply this part so who can?

The GPS signal shown on tomtom HOME is a demo and in no way represents the actual funtionalitiy of your GPS unit. The GPS receiver if still not working after you did 'the obvious' needsto be replaced. Workshop repair required
time to replace the unit, the cost to repair this problem is about what a new one costs, see this complaint allot on this model, think there is a factory defect going on here. Have u called Tomtom support number?

I think it has to do with hooking up your unit via the usb cable to the computer. I got one from Radio Shack and it worked fine for a day, drove with it and shut it on and off a couple of times. Then I hooked it up to my emachine computer, and all I got was a white screen. Took it back got another one, drove with it, turned it on and off a couple of times, worked fine. Then I hooked it up to my computer, and again the same white screen until I reset it. I noticed all these posts are in the last few days, so I would say it is a bad batch of units. I purchased one for my wife 3 weeks ago and no such problem.
