The camera will need to be carefully disassembled, Preferably by a Technician or a savvy electronic person. Care is the most important thing when opening up small precision pieces. Not only with the possibility of loosing small screws and parts, But there are lots of small fragile flat wire tracts that will easily tear if improper disassembled. The Optical Assembly will need to be removed and disassembled carefully so no dust get on to optics. Motor and gear train pulled, and lens reset to home position ( In with Shutter closed). This is the basic steps to restoring proper position to the lens, Observe the proximity switches near or around the drive cluster or optical assembly, Be sure the solder joints are OK. IN most models this will usually fix the issue, unless it's a Controller issue on the main board.
