Get a can of compressed air and make sure the fan is clean of gunk/dust. If its the fan built into the power supply, and have been noticing the computer not respoinding as good as used to, the you might need a new power supply. http://www.factorydirect.ca/catalog/category_list.php?cat=0700

If the loud noise is coming from a seperate fan, again make sure if it is clean. If it still makes noises, then you might need a new fan.

OK I think my laptop makes noise because of the fan.

Hello,

Thanks for using FixYa.

It is normal for the laptop's fan to make noise. Sometimes, the noise will not be as bad. The noise actually depends on how hot your laptop is. The hotter the laptop becomes, the louder the fan noise. Your laptop will produce heat depending on the load of the laptop's processor. So if you are multitasking on your laptop, expect the fan to spin faster because it will try to eliminate the extra heat being generated.

I just have a quick tip for you, never use your laptop on top of a bed or any soft surface because the vents under the laptop will not work properly.

I hope this helps. Thanks and good day.

When running load noise coming from black cylinder

That part you identified is the compressor of the dehumidifier. Compressor is probably bad or going bad. When compressor go bad the valves start making noise and they lose alot of there efficiency.

My fans are very loud do I need to replace them

check the plastic rings behind the fan blades, check to make sure plastic rings is tight and the screws holding fan cage on. Then when putting the fan cage back together, make sure it is tight so it wont vibrate

Noise coming from the fan in my 2003 9-3 saab when the heat or A/C is turned on

By turning on one of these systems you are putting more load onto the fan. Consequently the fan start to shudder under the load therby making the noise. This becomes more noticable as fan bearings become old and worn out. You could try and inject white lithium grese onto the fan shaft some of it might reach the bearing. Also check that the fan is not chipped under load that will start to make noise. sometime fan blades sofer from stone damage consequently chipping the fan blades

Hunter ceiling fan that is 14 years old is making a load noise at times when it is on, especially when it's on high. It doesn't always make the noise. I've checked the blades to make sure they were tight.

Sounds like the motor bearings>? Sometimes this has a bit of a "squealing" tone. Either replace th motor or decide that the fan has had its life and replace it.

Over heat cooling fan load noise remove and replace

A bearing more than likely has went bad causing your fan to stop properly cooling your unit. Replace with a compatible fan and you should be all set. Hope this helps.
