Usually the warranty is for the first 30 days. If you are in this period, you might get it fix for free or replace.

When i take a photo ,the image has horizontal line across it ...? what's should i do .is it lens problem ?

The fact that it takes the pictures ok confirms that it's not the ccd which has failed. A CCD problem would explain the lines on your pictures and the lines on the LCD (since the CCD is used to feed the live image). CCD (Charge Coupled Device) is one of the two main types of image sensors used in digital cameras.

Some symptoms of a defective CCD include distorted images or abnormal colors, scratchy purple lines, blank or black pictures, and/or black videos with good sound being recorded on the camera's flash card.

When a picture is taken, the CCD is struck by light coming through the camera's lens. Each of the thousands or millions of tiny pixels that make up the CCD convert this light into electrons. The number of electrons, usually described as the pixel's accumulated charge, is measured, then converted to a digital value. This last step occurs outside the CCD, in a camera component called an analog-to-digital converter.

In order to correct this issue, the repair facility needs to replace the CCD. This is not something you may do on your own; check this article for additional details: Bad CCDs. This, isn't a good new, but hope helps to solve it.

Samsung themselves wouldn't normally bother; a warranty claim usually means they chuck your camera away and send you a replacement. If you're in the UK click here for details of how to proceed with Samsung.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I'll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using Fixya, and have a nice day

Have lines across picture? do have warrenty ..do I send in or take to store where purchased?

Hi. If your camera is under warranty, return it to the vendor. White horizontal lines is a result of a failing parts inside the camera that needs replacement.

Green and purple pink horizontal lines on lcd screen

As it's definitely not a bicycle which you're asking about, I shall assume it's a camera.

You have described the typical symptoms of a failed CCD imager unit in a digital camera. if it is the imager, then photos taken before the fault occurred will display normally on the camera LCD display, and those taken after the fault occurred will display incorrectly on both the LCD and when uploaded to a host pc. The fault can only be repaired professionally, but unless the camera is under manufacturer's warranty and so qualifies for free repair it's usually not cost-effective.

Note that a few makes and models may qualify for a free repair even if out of warranty, but as you haven't mentioned the make and model I cannot advise you specifically about this.

White lines appearing on display after picture is taken

I have the same problem, and upon looking into my problem, i recall reading that Sony had used crappy glue in which they attached the CCD to the inner guts of the camera, and when that deteriorates, which doesn't take very long, then your pictures will have lines through them.

I think i remember reading that Sony said they will replace all cameras within 2 years of their manufacture. Call Sony's troubleshooting and support and they may replace it for you.

Hope i helped solve your problem.

Wavy lines on photo's

Check if it is a dirty lens problem.

If lens are ok, then is either the camera optical sensor defective or a fault in camera main board.

You will need to take your camera to a computer shop or to send it in for repair.

You can call the number listed on the camera user manual to get repair service.

If camera is less than one year old, it may be covered by factory warranty, check warranty terms.

Lines across your pictures could indicate that the sensor is damaged. If your camera is still under warranty get it back to Fuji asap, otherwise get it to a repair service and ask for a quote to repair. As far as i know fuji have a fixed price to repair each camera model.

Red lines

It seems that you have been selecting Panoram view to shoot photos. Go to menu and change the image options and select SHQ or whatever and not panorama. This should solve the problem. Panorama view shows the grid lines all over the screen and it is meant for taking 360 degree panoramic views.

White pictures and lines across pictures

Try this to isolate the problem.
Switch on the camera in auto and put it into full optical zoom. Now turn the camera to face you and angle it so that you can see into the lens without reflection. On full zoom the internal lens will be right up to the outer lens. Now press the button to take a picture. You should be able to see the shutter cover the inside lens and then open again. Did it completely cover the lens? It should do. If not then you will get an over exposed picture or a picture with lines across it.
