Question about Washing Machines
Hi Mr Miele, I was looking for a schematic for a EL150 pcb for my washer the board is defective and at the moment I have not got to the bottom of the problem, I have previously replced a capacitor, which temp. repaired the problem, now the pcb fuse has gone in a rather dramatic fashion I think it may be the choke??? Have you got any information on this board or know where I might find some.
Many Thanks in anticipation

If you do decide to remove the board and fix it, you sometimes can see what goes bad by a small burn or tarnish mark around a resistor or capacitor. Other times you wont be able to see a thing. It would all depend on what system or part caused the first problem. Good Luck!!! Jim

I'm not familiar with this particular model but I will tell you this:
The schematics for these circuit boards are generally not published. The reason is that the average repair guy will not want to fix them and probably lacks the expertise. Q means transistor. Transistors are 'relays' after a fashion. If you can see a number, you may be able to access a replacement. Otherwise, I would change the board. The fact that the washer will start sounds like the relay that the board controls is operating properly.
You may be able to find a board renewal/exchange online for less than a whole new one. Be sure to unplug the machine and ground yourself when handling the board.

This was easy to replace, but after only two months I did a small load and when I went to look at it the washer was completely dead. I fiddled with the wires by unplugging the blue wire that connects the main circuit to the control panel and sometimes it begins to go, but cuts out. Does anyone have an idea what's going on with it now?

I think its located back bottom of drum, could be this short circuit, try disconnecting the wiring to it then see if machine runs make sure no power connected while disconnecting also tape up wiring ends..
