First Hello. Before few days, when I turn on my PC(but I was unpluged my machine from electricity) and on monitor displays CMOS wrong set date/time,cpu frequensy.I hit BIOS set up sittings and Windows xp...

Replacing the bios battery was the correct thing to do. Answer me this. The Asus motherboard should have a green LED light lit (Standby power LED), when the system is turned off. Also keep the power cord for the power supply connected at all times. Though it is possible the replacment bios battery was all ready low on voltage or dead. When you're system is turned off the power supply continues to send 5volt DC to the motherboard which maintains the bios 3volt DC.
If the green LED is not lit than there is no power charging the bios battery and every time you boot the system the bios will have lost its settings. If the green LED is red in color, than the problem is within the standby switch built into the motherboard. The standby circuit can not be repaired. Double check all power connectors from the power supply to the motherboard. If everything has a good connection and you're bios settings continue to reset you should consider replacing the motherboard. At this point you have nothing to loose. Install the latest bios update,
(Beta Version 1010.005). 2006/02/14 update.

Wont post led 3 flashes

if its the red flashing light on the tower, its the hard drive activity light.

when the monitor goes on stand by, does the tower retain power? (green light on and flashing red light sometimes?) Does your keyboard's scroll lock/num lock/caps lock keys and keyboard lights work?

First check your num lock key led if it on and off when you press num lock then your cpu gives diaply to monitor perfact.
Then check your display connection from monitor to cpu.
When you power up the computer pressF8 ket then enter in enable vga mode. Then go to control panel -> display->property ->settings.
Then change screen resolution to 1024*768 then apply and ok .
But if you still not get dispaly then

-> Open cpu cabinet.
-> Refix RAM meory clean all dust from motherbord chip set .
-> pull cmos cell for 15 minutes.
-> Reattch ATX power supply to motherbord.
-> Refix processor it is bottom of processor fan.

Please rate my solution if it help you .
Thanks for using fixya.

Windows not loading and monitor not switching on

Usualy the red light is the LED for the harddrive. Have you removed the hardrive and replaced it? Is there a reason that maby the power connector is not attached. Also, Is this computer a privately built pc or is a general manufacturer, like Hp, Dell Compaq etc. Also, If the battery on the motherboard has gone south then the bios setup setting will not be saved and the machine would not know how to boot. If the drives are all connected correctly, when you first boot the machine start tapping the del button. Depending on the Mfr, For some Hp's you need to tap the f1 key, there should be a message during the first part of the boot where it says, "To enter setup hit del, or F1 or etc." After you are in the blue screen of the bios, look for a message that says enter default settings. Hit that key, then F10 to save, exit, and boot. If this fixes the problem, then you will see the red LED for the hard drive illuminate and if the hard drive is intact with the OS then it should boot up. If it does boot up, after you are finished for the day, shut your system off as you usually would. The next time that you boot your system, if you have to enter the bios setup and enter the default setting again, then more than likely it is the motherboard battery. It is a bit difficult to diagnose something like this on the cuff. There are other conditions that can cause this like a damaged motherboard, bad memory, jumpers incorrectly set on the drives or motherboard just to mention a few. Hopefully this can be a place to start anyway.

Regards, Mike

the ram memory might not be compatible from your motherboard, you should have find it on the list of your motherboard manual. the manual have the list of memory cards' qualified brand. likewise, try to install this to ther slot if the problem still occurs then you may return to your vendor and inform them about the specs and kind of your motherboard and the problem you are encountering so that they will give you the right memory card to use. you can also ugrade your bios thru the internet so that you don't need to return this item.
