What version is the best version of Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex? Is it the "Greatest Hits" version for PS2 (which fixed the loading time problem for the original version on the PS2) Or is it the Xbox version? I bought the Gamecube version first, saw it was ****, then traded it in for the original PS2 version, which had much better graphics, but a horrible loading problem.
So what should it be? Greatest Hits on PS2 or Xbox?

You get the boomerang from the big monkey after you roll into the totem polls he's standing on in the battle. When he falls give him a bunch of good hits. Also, finding all the small monkeys can be tricky so pay attention to detail. By far one of my favorite games ever. Let me know if there's any more I can help you with!
Odd that would happen. Must have been a really hard crash on the ground. Usually the Gamecube can handle more of a beating. Though I'd expect the disc drive to go out for the controllers would.
All I can think of is that the controller ports where knocked out somehow. Perhaps even just the cord that connects the ports to the rest of the system was knocked loose.
The only solution I can give is to open the Gamecube and see if you or someone can reinsert the wires or resolder them.
I don't think it could be anything worse than something being forced out of place like that.
Could also be a severed wire if a piece bashed into it somehow. Though desoldering the old wire(s) and soldering a new one is sometimes easy enough.
If all else fails you can also find a replacement part. These can be a little pricey depending on the site and hard to find so make sure search around a good lot.
Oh and as for opening the console itself, well, it requires semi-special tools. Some security screw screw driver sets have the right shape needed or one close enough. You can also find screw drivers sold as "gamecube repair screw driver" at times as well and can be rather cheap to buy. They seem impossible to get but they are out there and ya never know when you just happen to have one that'll work.
I hope this helps out some. Good luck with the repairs.
i don't know for sure but my guess could be to do with the disc make sure the disk is clean and try that if it still doe's the same thing then try another disc if you have access to another wind waker thats i can think of sorry :)
