Please check if the iPod is fully charged , if not allow it to charge for about 8 hours and then try if the fault repeats. If so the iPod must be connected to a PC and all the files must be scanned or removed. The format the drive and reload ONLY with safe files with which you can try once again. If fault appears the chances are the battery or the processor hanging up which might need technical help and consensus.
This simply means that the iPod is in Auto sync mode. To be able to listen to your music on your iPod through iTunes you will need to change the settings on the summary page that loads when you first connect the iPod. You want to deselect the Automatically sync all checked items, then select the Manually manage option. After that click Apply. You will now be able to listen to the songs on the iPod though iTunes, but the iPod will no longer auto sync to your computer.
that is because the songs have not been transferred to your ipod yet....connect your ipod to your pc....open itunes.....select all songs from your music library and drag them to your ipod icon....the songs will start getting transferred....therafter you can listen them on your ipod too....
Does your iPod come on? If not, your battery could be bad.
If you can see the music playing, but cannot hear anything, you could have a bad earphone jack or a bad circuit board.
You can tell if it is the battery the iPod will not come on at all unless it is attached to the computer or to a power outlet.
If you can move the earphone jack around while playing music and hear something, then it is the headphone jack. If you move the jack around and hear nothing, then I would suspect the circuit board.
If you have a device that can play your music out of the USB port on the iPod, you can make sure that it is the circuit board that way. When the circuit board is bad, music will not play out of the headphone jack or the USB port. Hope that helps.
First things First!
1) check on other speakers to see if your iPod work fine
2) check connector for loosing electric connectivity.
3) check with your headphones to see if your iPod play music well.
4) Check, power on the computer spk. you got. or the input that is working right.
