• Check to see if the sound on the stereo receiver has been muted.

I am fixing a sansui rz-5000av receiver /amp. the problem is the power supply,it does not switch on. the fuse is fine, capacitors are all ok. But power does not reach connector for the standby supply to...


So you're saying ac doesn't get very far into the unit. THAT should be easy to diagnose with CARE since ac is usually passed unmodified to the fuses and power supplies, maybe through a relay. Get a digital voltmeter and find out where it disappears after getting into the unit.

I have a sansui stereo av receiver rz 7000 from 1990 which works on 110 220 230 volts and the receiver has a voltage selector on the back - I need to understand how to move the selector from 220 to 110...


Remove the fuse cover with a flat screwdriver, then pull the surrounding circular black plastic piec straight out and reorient it to show the desired voltage, then plug it in, insert the fuse and cap.

I have a Sansui receiver Model RZ-1000. The left channel is out. Cheaper to repair? or just buy another similar on ebay?


I have this unit. It is built with disable links for each of the channels, which are easy to replace. The replacement part is only a few dollars.

i have the same problem but my receiver doesn't change sources and its blocked on the last station llistened. the problem appeared when i washed the face of the receiver with a special spray. i think that i have done something very wrong like a short cut in the command processor. any help, please?

No Audio OutPut When Cooling Fan Starts


I have the same rz 6880 av 5.1! bt im not facing that problem. Iv connected my Bose III series speakers to it...and it plays well. Maybe you need to check your system with a qualified personnel.
