My dvd drive is not

CHECK IN BIOS ITS SHOWING OR NOT

Hi Samholden,

If I understand correctly you are not able to find your DVD/CD drive listed under the "My computer"(computer in Vista)

When You try to use the Disc on the Drive,the Error"code 19" Pop's up.

Is the Light indicatng the Power to the Drive showing On.
If Yes Please Follow this solution For XP (operating system)

Click Start,
Right Click My Computer.
Click Properties.
(you should have got the system properties window Open)
Click Hardware TAB
Click Device manager Button

Look through the list to find the DVD drive (icon)
if you Find it and see a "+" sign Click it to make it "-"
then Observe the sub menu that appearce, (Reply to us if there were any of the alert Icons along with the ICON)

Right Click the sub-menu and Click uninstall.
then Restart the computer again.
