Go to a parts or supply house aks for 5amp fuse ,if after putting in new fuse and if set blows it again then you have somthing else that has shorted.hori output, diode or fuse resistor.

In most cases on the board under the fuse the rating will be listed IE: 4A, 5A etc.

BPL TV NOT STARTING

if no any power indicator that light or even blinking, the first place to be check will be the power supply section you must check weather the fuse is blown.if the fuse is blown before you replaced with new one you need to check other component in the power supply section like transistor and diode. so this case need proper trouble shooting, if you think you don't have enough idea in any electronic repair just leave it to the trained tv technician.

Does TV have a fuse or reset button? Where are they located?

Yes, all TVs have a fuse. You'll usually find it in a spring-clip holder on the circuit board inside the cabinet. Look for it in the area where the power cord connects to the board. Most TV sets use a small cartridge fuse, but some sets use a different type.

If you're asking this because your TV has gone dead, just be aware that if the fuse is bad it's normally because something else in the set failed and caused the fuse to blow. Fuses very seldom just go bad on their own. If you change the fuse, don't be surprised if it goes bad again.

And while this should go without saying, I'll say it anyway: be sure to unplug the TV from the AC outlet before taking the back off. You can get a nasty shock if you forget this step.

Greetings Sir can you help me find what type of fuse goes in SB315 Model (Sponge Bob) version

If the fuse is blown, you have more problems. Do not replace the fuse. It is not a consumer repairable item.

No power

unplug the unit for 24 hours and try it again. if the unit doesnt come on at all, even after that, then the internal fuse is blown, or a power spike / surge has friend part of the internal power supply. you'll have the go through the warranty process of the manufacturer, or find a local tv repair shop.

TV DOES NOT COME ON VIA POWER OR REMOTE

The problem  may be limited to a blown fuse which may not be accessible from outside the set. Removing the back cover isn't normally a tough job and any fuse would be close to where the power comes in. I recommend pulling the AC plug overnight since there are components inside that can retain dangerous charges for hours. If it  is not defective (if clear glass, a flashlight will help seeing it), then the failure is probably in the power supply and this may require a professional to troubleshoot.
If you own a multimeter and want to try to locate the failure, post back to this thread and I will give you some guidance.

greetings from belize make good checks in your power supply replace your voltage regulator it has an short which is activated after accumulating heat.change the horizontal transistor.and the bias diode the feeds to the B+ to the flyback.if that does not solve the problem replace the flyback.your problem is intermittent so you cannot check voltage just replace components matter of fact replace all the components in the power supply you can buy a kit from www.dalbani.com in miami florida.good luck.
