Not getting any video from a msi 880gma-e55 integrated video motherboard

This may sound simple, but make sure the monitor is set to correct input. Many are auto detect, but you never really know.

You could also check BIOS for onboard video. Disable if you have an add-on video card. Enable if you don't

Reseat the video card if it an add-on.

Won't power on

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

Test all power and data leads that attach to your hard drive IDE,SATA

the leads from your MOTHERBOARD TO YOUR HARD DRIVE make sure they have a secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be

faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error

even something as small as a faulty electrical extension or fan lead can cause you problems

computers need power and data travel through every working device and to have an end to be able work properly

make sure ram modules and cmos batteries have dust free secure seatings and cmos battery has charge some motherboards cmos batteries are soldered in

motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive if its a flat ribbon 40 pin type IDE replace it this will be the first to fail

check all power and data leads make sure they have secure dust free connections

cd/dvd floppy drives need to have current go through make sure these drives are working

check you CPU make sure its securely seated and has thermal grease

hope this helps

Power supply unit gets power as light on the back shows but pc wont turn on. Have tried differnt PSU and pc turned on but have had unit checked and they said the PSU is working fine. Cant fit standard PSU...

Try this to get it at-least back on with your PSU that fits in the case. open up your computer case, locate your power supply. With the AC cord still plugged in , unplugged the connectors to your motherboard from the PSU and wait about 10secs. Then replugged them in. This should power on your PC.
Also, You wanna check around where the PSU connects to the motherboard and make sure there is no damage. No burning,Discoloration anything that could be potential damage.
Hope this works atleast to get the PC booting up.

ATX-300GU PSU: 32V around Q4/Q5 circuit

could just be the regulating power transistors are burned out or one of their biosing components, there a few meaty capacitors that may be causing a surge, but the safe thing to do would be to start with a new one, the reason is, modern drives are so sensitive that you could blow their circuitry and then lose the harddisk! All the best - the Yeti

No, given your old PSU's dimensions the HEC PSU would be too large. It sounds like you have a micro-ATX case.
