Acer Veriton X4610G will not power on

There are a couple of ways we can quickly try to solve this, however they only work if there isn't a hardware fault. First off, pull the power-cord out of the back of the PC, then press the power-button on the pc case- the one you use to switch it on and hold it in for about 30 seconds. Let go of the power button and re connect the power cord. Try to switch on the pc. If this works, the problem was a build up of static electricity in the PSU which occasionally causes the pc to not switch on - its pretty common. If this doesn't work, then you are probably looking at a replacement power supply. These are pretty straight forward to replace, however, from researching the X4610G, it looks like they are a small PC and so don't use a standard size Power supply. If you are happy to have a play, search on ebay for a replacement supply-just type in your pc name and model and add PSU then use this information to hunt for a quality replacement. You need to make sure the wattage is at least the same as the one you are taking out. This is displayed on a sticker on the side of the PSU. You will need to remove the case to find this out usually. Then remove the case and carefully unplug the existing PSU from the motherboard, hard drive, DVD drive etc. Then just replace the old with the new and reconnect the power to the Motherboard, DVD etc. Once done, replace the side of the case and switch on. Hopefully this should be you sorted. If you are not happy about doing it yourself, expect to pay anywhere from 50 GBP-100 GBP for a technician to do this for you (including the part). Hope this helps

PACKARD BELL iXtreme I5622UK DVD Driver problems

You need to UNINSTALL the drivers and not delete them if you had done so on the PC. If this wont help it is possible that the OS must be reinstalled after formatting of the drive and thereby the drivers can be installed.

How can I replace the power supply on my Acer PC AX1300

first, you need to know the WATT value of the current power supply.
When you buy the PSU ( Power supply unit ), just replace it with the old one.
take care to replace the power cables from the new PSU inside the computer box with those ones from the old PSU.

You should check if your PSU is providing enough power to the hard drive. In case the hard drive requires more power, you should either replace it or get a better PSU.

Consult a professional for best results.
