Did the radios previously work together? If so, you have one radio in need of repair.

If the radios are new to you, and you do not know if they previously worked together, it could be a simple programming problem. Take it to your local Motorola dealer to check the programming.

One simple test to see if you have one with PL and one CSQ, is to press the monitor button and see if the two radios can communicate when they are in open squelch mode. (The monitor button will be one of the side buttons near the PTT.)

Remove batterys gp 300

The battery pack for the GP300 radio is the entire back half of the radio. There are two spring-loaded tabs, one on either side of the radio, which must be pulled down at the same time to release the battery. If the battery has been on the radio for some time, it may have dirt or debris holding the battery tight to the radio. If this occurs, while holding down the tabs, tap the battery portion of the radio on the edge of a table/countertop to dislodge it. The battery will slide downward from the radio.

Best regards.

Portable motorola gp 340 can receive but cannot transmit

Don't know your capabilities but if it were me I would open the phone and check the contacts for transmit button. Sometimes contacts get corroded and need cleaning or it just may be no connection at all and a adjustment of the contacts will resolve the issue.

My motorola radius GP 300 suddenly stoped working, disconnected from programmed network, how can i connect back and sees it working back?

GP300 radios will operate either radio-to-radio or in conjunction with a repeater. If your radio no longer works through a repeater, you might check to see if it will work in talk-around mode (radio-to-radio). Check with your repeater service provider to see if the repeater is in working order. One other item which might occur with a repeater would be if your radio is no longer recognized by serial number by the repeater. This is also something the service provider could help you with.

We order some motorola radius batteries and paid for them they never came what do i do

Hi David,

As you have all the transaction details, you will be able to do things, first of all, you need to contact the company/store you ordered them from and get a good reason for the delay.
Secondly, if within a reasonable timeframe (2 weeks) you still haven't received your items, you can apply to the small claims court for a hearing, to try to retrieve your money.

I hope this helps you.

Cheers,
Peter

How to open my motorola gp 300 battery

The battery pack for the GP300 radio is a factory sealed unit. There are no user maintainable parts. Sorry!

If you are wanting to remove the battery from the radio, look along the sides of the radio near the top. There is a spring-loaded tab on each side. These need pulled down and held while you slide the battery down and off the back of the radio.

Best regards.

Procedure for instalation of motorola gp-300 software in win xp from cd

GP300 software is DOS based, and would need to go into a computer near the same chronological age as the RSS software, such as a slow 486. The software will not work in Windows.
