At the time when you enter a wrong pin number three times the phone asks you for a PUK number. The PUK code is generally eight digit number This PUK number is an unlocking code which helps you to unlock the phone and use it. If you enter a wrong PUK number 10 times than you simcard gets rejected. Then you will have to buy a new simcard. It might happen that your phone might ask you for PUK2 after you enter your PUK number. You can find the PUK code is in your SIM card documentation Starter Pack. If you do not have this then contact your phone service provider. Your cell phone service provider can give you the PUK code once they have confirmed your identity to prevent any stolen SIM access.

Personal UnlocK code is a code set by the phone service provider to prevent unauthorised usage of phone's pin number.. There's only one way to get it.. Call your service provider's helpline and they'll help you for sure..

PUK is Personal Unblocking Code. You can't get it here. Every sim has a different PUK code for it. Your mobile operator may help you in this problem. Contact them.

You need to call your network provider and they should tell you what the PUK code is or reset your phone. it is free. its happened to me before and cause im with 02 you can just go on the website and get your puk. best thing to do is call your network though.

Hi everyone

Every PUK code is unique so nobody can tell you your PUK number, but i will tell you what you can do!
1) If you still have your packet that your Sim Card came in, you should find your PUK number in there, if you don't have the packet, please read bellow.

2) You must get a phone that is on the same network as your phone and call the networks Customer Care and ask them for your PUK number, they will ask you for your phone number, then they will tell you your PUK number. Once you have done this, you will be able to reset your Pin number so you will be able to go into your phone again.

PUK code is called as PERSONNAL UNBLOCKING KEY.
Your phone will ask for PUK code when you entered the PIN code wrongly several times depending upon the mobile make. The mobile asks for PUK code so that unauthorized persons do not use your mobile for wrong cause.
To get PUK code please contact your service provider through phone or go directly to their office. They will provide you the PUK code for your mobile. The PUK code for mobile phone.so that you can open your phone. When you planning to call your service provider you cannot use your mobile as it is fully locked. Please use some other mobile with same network to call your service provider.
While you get the PUK code ,the service provider customer care officer will ask for your personal details to check whether the mobile belongs to you only. If they are satisfied with your answers they will provide with the PUK code
DONOT enter the PUK code several times wrongly,It will block your sim card permanently.
This PUK code is FREE. You no need to pay any sum to get the PUK code

A PUK blocked message pops up after one enters the wrong PUK code 7 or 10 times in a row, depending on the service provider. A PUK code is required only after one blocks the SIM PIN code.

Many times, it may so happen that you block your PIN code. You will need to call the customer care of the service provider of your cell phone for the PUK code or refer the SIM certificates for the PUK code. If you enter the wrong PUK code 7 to 10 times in succession, it will lead to PUK blocked. After entering the wrong PUK code 10 times in a row, the SIM card becomes permanently invalid or locked. The only solution is to purchase a new SIM card.

PUK blocked requires you to get a new SIM card. It does not matter whether you use a Nokia Cell Phone, LG Cellphone, Motorola Cell Phone, Samsung or Sony Ericsson handset. The handset is not the one that's deactivated, but its the SIM card that gets blocked. So, contact your network store for further help and getting yourself a new SIM card (new phone number). PUKs, or personal unblocking keys, are used to unblock a mobile phone which becomes blocked. Mobile phones may become blocked when a PIN (personal identification number) is entered incorrectly on three consecutive occasions. In some instances, the phone may become blocked, which requires a PUK to unblock it, and in other instances, the SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card itself becomes blocked and again will require a PUK to unblock it. you can get the puk code from your service provider, whomever that may be, vodaphone, O2 orange etc... they will ask you for youe IMEI number inside the phone (probably under the battery), then they will issue you with a puk code.
