Make sure your Plantronics Explorer headset is fully charged and turned off.
Press and hold the call control button (the button on the face of the headset opposite the earbud) for six seconds. When the light begins flashing blue and red, the headset is now ready for pairing with your phone.
Select the Menu on your cell phone. Once the menu is displayed, select Settings, then Bluetooth Menu.
Select the option to add a new device. This will both turn on Bluetooth capabilities in your phone and put it into a setting known as "Discovery mode." The phone should discover your Plantronics headset automatically and display "XXXPlantronics." ("XXX" represents the model series number, such as "320Plantronics.")
Select the Plantronics option on your phone. In many cases, the phone will automatically recognize the headset, but if you are prompted to enter a passkey, proceed to the next step.
Enter "0000" if you are prompted for a passkey. Your headset will flash blue once it is successfully paired with your phone. Once paired, the Bluetooth headset will automatically recognize your cell phone each time it is turned on
