Recording problem with SH855 "timer" recording. Stutters and freezes on play back. No problem recording 'live'.

Hdmi connection to Samsung 46" LCD.

- Resetting DVR and/or TV did not work.

Found that Timer recording was perfect with HDMI cable removed and composite connected.

Thus it appears that Timer freezing problems is linked to use of HDMI.

This composite solution remains a disappointmnet as Anynet and 1080i upscaling are not available (when HDMI is not in place).

Appreciate any help.

u have to do this restore your sh855 on factory setting your problem will be solvs

look for the system setting ,it must be identical,like for example your samsung set to NTSC 4.3 so your TV setting is Also NTSC 4.3,try to check this out...

yes u will have to reset to factory settings again
