I cannot print with my deskjet F2200, its showing error-offline, please advise how can i rectify this printer problem..

i was working on a project and went to print it out the paper got jammed pulled that out now its still not letting me print out.

The ink cartridge is likely electrically damaged, to verify nozzle/electrical health run the 'Tap 41' diagnostic procedure:

Possible that the drivers were corrrupted , hence to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer driver software and connect the Printer to be detected and installed. Check printer properties to see the ink levels.
Use head cleaning before a test is taken . It is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the command , can be an issue with ink drying , can also be poor ink cartridge contacts

Click Start and then go to Printers and Faxes (XP), Printers(Vista), Devices and Printers(Win 7)
1. Right Click on your printer Icon 2. Click Open or See What's Printing 3. Click the option that says Printer on the upper left corner of the window that pops up. 4. Make sure the only thing that is checked under that menu is Set As Default Printer. 5. If Use Printer Offline or Pause Printing has a check mark. Uncheck it.
Try printing again. I hope this helped.

Go to Printers & Faxes, open your printer (the window where you see the documents being printed), and from the upper menu leftmost item (Printer) uncheck the option "Work offline" or similar. Then try resuming or restarting print.

unplug the USB lead and plug it back in...if no response try another USB port, if still no response use a different lead or put a gentle bend in the one you have to make the connection tighter....make sure the printer is on of course

Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

More info needed. What operating system and version number.

1) First let's make sure the hardware is working. Place a document face down on the scanner glass. Press Start Copy Black. Did it scan and print?
If not, please let us know.
If it did, go to the next step.
2) Please confirm the USB cable is plugged firmly into the back of the printer and to the computer. Do not go through a hub, switch, or router.
3) Click on your Apple icon (upper left corner), System Preferences, Print and fax.
Do you have the F2210 printer listed more than once?
I am going to suggest removing the F series printer. Highlight it and press the minus button to delete. Once you have removed it, close all windows back to the desktop.
On the computer click on Hard Drive > Applications > Hewlett-Packard > Device Utilities > HP Setup Assistant. Follow the on screen directions to add the printer back to computer. Do not re-register the printer (choose skip or register later). Once your are able to click finish, try printing again.
I would suggest trying to print from Text Edit first. This will rule out any possible issues with the Word document you were trying to print. Click on Hard Drive > Applications > Text Edit. Type your name in the untitled screen. Click on File > Print. Make sure the F2200 series printer is selected. Click Print. Did it print?
