Cinemotion is a Sony trademark which is intended to preserve the integrity of the film-to-video conversion.

Motionflow is a technology whereby a television with a high refresh rate can "interpolate" frames between the real frames to allow a smoother flow of motion.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

Hello, my Finlux 427020-D LED Passive 3D tv, popped after trying to turn it on first thing in the morning and completely stopped working. Is there anything I can do myself as cannot afford new.

Hello Scott Baer...

I posted your make & model... and it responded with "SPARES"
which means you have different input voltages...
(here = usa: "parts").

After you beg, borrow, buy a ESD wrist strap... and take lots of pictures of EXACTLY WHAT EVERYTHING looks like...

Take a look at the board with the most metal showing:
Main power board... would be an EXCELLENT first guess.
(main board would be your next guess)...

Calling it an iterative process sounds the best (guessing!!).

Write that number down... (and the other while you're there)!!

Then go onto eBay with your model number and see what conventional (cyber) wisdom has to say... (The input voltages may be different... but the principle functions all work the same).

If eBay is tooo frightening use
technical support is available there as well...

There's an interesting young man who blogs under the name "tampatec"... While I vigorously disagree with his live testing

(circuit packs are just to cheap to risk safety)

How to set 100hz or Motionflow/Trumotion Effect on Panasonic 42X20 Plasma or...

To those who want to have the Motionflow/Trumotion effect on this Plasma Flat Panel TV or similar models, do the following:

1. Set your media player / source (PS3, Xbox 360, Western Digital Media player, Apple TV, etc) at 720p@50hz / 1080i@50hz / 1080p@50hz.

Note: not all player supports 50hz read your source manual if your source/media player can support 50hz

2. Go to the TV's menu and select Setup

3. Select Other Settings

4. You will be able to change refresh rate to 100hz for a Motionflow/Trumotion effect that they have on LCD/LED (if you don't see the 100hz setting that means your source is at 60hz not 50hz)

Note: 100hz refresh rate is different from 600hz subfield drive.

I have a line of icons;braviaex5, motionflow, ambient sensor, etc.etc.etc

On the TV there should be a MENU button. It might be located on the side of the TV. Try holding that button in and see if that solves the problem. LMK if that works. Good luck!

Change input device and see. Connect the same input to a different TV and see. Most probably it could be due to some loose contacts.

How to get rid of demo mode motionflow wording on sony bravia television

Try some of these solutions:

  1. Turn GA_googleFillSlot("TL-IMU-Article"); on the TV.
  2. Simultaneously hold down the Vol+ and Vol- buttons on the front of the TV. Do not use the remote control.
  3. Hold for about 6 seconds

  1. Certain model TVs may turn off, others will not. But in either case, the Demo mode should be disabled.
