Samsung gte1080i i try and put in my virgin sim and it comes up with network lock please help

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

Virgin Mobile phones contain Propriatory software. This means that Virgin mobile SIM cards will only work in Virgin Mobile phones. If your Samsung GTE 1080i was not sold by Virgin Mobile your Virgin mobile SIM card will not work in it.

If your phone was sold by Virgin Mobile, contact Virgin Mobile (in the USA)
at 1-888-322-1122 and request assistance.

How to reach a live person: Press 0 as soon as you hear "Alex", and keep pressing 0 for each request made for more information.

Here is another number you can also try:

Phone: 877-602-4907
How to reach a live person: Believe it or not, this number rings through to a live customer service rep. It sometimes rings quite a few times, but be patient and someone will pick up.

I have a nokia 5230 v festival restricted to virgin network i want to unlock it

As you send me that your using nokia 5230 cell phone this nokia mobile which your using does not support CDMA technology your mobile support only GSM technology. So you better use the gsm technology now a days virgin also have gsm sim if you still want to use virgin network means you take the gsm technology sim and you can use that number in your mobile.You will get this sim in virgin outlet.If you pay some amount you will recive this sim. var geo_Partner = '687b82b2-54e8-44dc-93c0-87c73f39cdb0'; var geo_isCG = true;

When i insert a virgin sim card in a virgin network phone it does not work!

Thanks for visiting FixYa!

Virgin Mobile uses proprietary software in it's phones. As such, (depending on the phone) a SIM card already activated for one Virgin Mobile phone may not work in another (different) Virgin Mobile phone - even if it is the exact make and model.

You may need to contact Virgin Mobile Customer service to request a new phone added to your account - and they may need to provide you with a new SIM card. They'll be able to let you know what you'll need to do depending on which phone you want to use on your account.

How do I unlock/flash my virgin mobile kyocera x-tc for free?

You cant unlock / flash your XTC. Cool phone, but only works on CDMA network, not on the iDen network like Boost phones. If you want to use Boost phone service, you'll have to select one of the 1/2 dozen boost mobile phones.

I want to know my virgin mobile PUK code.

Hello,

You will not be able to get the PUK code here. PUK code means Personal Unlock Key. this code has nothing to do with the phone. it's to do with your SIM. you need to contact your Network Operator to get the Code. in this case it's Virgin.

Hope this helps.

Wild card virgin mobile unlock

Give Virgin Mobile a call. They should be able to unlock the phone. If they can't, try taking it to another provider like Altell. They may be able to unlock the phone since it's technically an LG phone that they too provide.
If those two options don't work, good luck getting the phone working.
