You don't need to install any special PC suite software when connecting your HTC HD2 to your computer. Just connect it using a USB cable and you will be ask to choose the type of USB Connection that you want (Active Sync, Disk Drive or Internet Sharing).

for htc HD2 windows mobile : download the WMDC (windows mobile device center) for win7/vista PC or PC SYNC 4.5 for XP and install it to use your Windows phone 6.5 device.
try active sync->file->connection settings->this computer connected to (select the internet) also try checking the box for 'allow connection to one of the following' option.
