SOURCE: Hunter 44260 Thermostat Problem
make sure you have the jumper in place
if you dont have a secondary heat source red should be on r with a jumper to rh
SOURCE: I have a hunter 44260
probably the temperature in the area where the thermostat sensor is placed is hotter ...so .if you want a higher temperature ..just set it with 5 degrees higher..and see what 's happening ..I think this will make it get to 70 ..

The more I am reading online about this company and this particular thermostat, the more I am regretting this purchase. My first set of batteries lasted a little more than 3 weeks and now it won't stop flashing "4."
By the way, the owner's manual doesn't say what to do if this occurs and doesn't even mention what the "4" is for. What a joke, I am very disappointed
Thermostat flashes "4" and Furnace won't ignite. And it's getting chilly here
