Lost signal to unit and assumed it was a failure of the signal from AT&T U'VErse cable. Cable guy came in and said that the unit is powered off. Tried powering it on but no luck.

WE have unplugged the unit hoping it will discharge/recycke and come back on in a day or so.

Any thoughts? Sefvice Centers?? Bought unit at Walmart.

Replace power supply board on nexus 50" plasma hdtv

If your LCD TV or monitor has stopped working, or is displaying one of the following symptoms, then it's a candidate for some new capacitors
- Flickering screen
- Screen image disappears after several seconds
- Dim screen
- Slow start
- Power LED on, but no picture
- Unusual colors and/or lines
The primary cause of LCD TV and monitor failure is caused by faulty capacitors. You can examine the capacitors in your LCD TV or monitor and actually see if they are bad.
If they appear bulged on top, then they need to be replaced.
New capacitors will solve a host of problems in LCD monitors and TV's and will extend the life of your monitor or TV by several years.
Take it to a repair shop.

I have a VIZIO VF550M LCD T.V. I was watching T.V. and it went off and won't turn back on. What can I do to fix it?

Outside of leaving it unplugged for 30 minutes to do a reset, there's not much you can do. It sounds as thought the set needs repair. Sounds like you have an issue with either the power supply or main board

Horizontal lines shadowed / blured picture after 20-30 minutes

There are some semiconductors or capacitors that are leaky. Might need thorough check up inside the TV.

Lg 42lg 30 went blank with no signs of power.

Possible that the main power has failed which is a SMPS unit. So remove power cord and open set to probe within the power supply unit.

The monitor will not work without the AVC box.
Do you still have the monitor? Is it in good condition? Would you be willing to sell it? If so, please email me at info@btwconcepts.com

My sharp aquos 30 inch tv will not come on. what could be the problem

Hello; I have an similar LC30HV2U for sale in my TV repair shop for $350. This is a 2 piece unit. The AV box and the monitor. I am also a Sharp authorized servicer. In the monitor there are 2 inverter boards on the right side that have an 80 % chance of causing this problem. This set counts "lamp errors" due to one or more inverters not working on startup. Once the set accumulates 5 lamp errors, It will not allow the set to come on. The first thing Sharp tells us is to replace both inverter boards. About $90 each. If those don't fix it the cost will go much higher due to a bad power supply board or bad LCD Panel. Hope this helps, John

32" LCD HDTV Sceptre model x32, blue led but no pic or sound !

Having the same problem. Took it to a repair shop and they say it is some capacitors and the power supply... Which seems kinda hinky to me... I would think one or the other would be the problem, not both at the same time.

Scratched sharp 46 inch lcd screen can it be replaced

The lcd screen is the most expensive component of the lcd screen/tv/monitor.

It makes no sense to try and replace it as first of all you won`t be able to find the part number required to do that job (e.g. the screens are internally made by sharp // special orders are placed to companies that only start the process for orders greater than tens of thousands of items) and secondly after a lcd panel has been replaced / installed you need to configure the colors, luminosity, contrast, balance etc through a data cable.

I am really sorry for your sharp lcd screen.
