JVC AV-32050 large black block on my screen after my kids hit a lot of buttons on the front panel. Help?

Probably the text box for closed captioning. Turn off the closed captioning and see if it goes away. If not, then, try setting everything back to the factory presets. Your manual will tell you how.

JVC model AV-32750..... The close caption feature is toggled on and a large black square is blocking picture. I have no remote to enter the menu settings so using buttons on bottom front. I am unable to...

just look in the section for closed captions----the box is the "text" feature and just needs to be turned off; if you did it without a remote it can be undone the same way.

it sounds like you have a power supply problem
there are caps known that fail that do cause this problem
if you have the tools a multi meter a esr meter and soldering station and a bit of ability and knowledge you can repair this

The part number should have M2 on the end of it: SGV-4011A-M2, but it is no longer available.

The tv skeen stays black but the red light stays on . is my tube blowned out and needs replaced .idon't know can you tell me ?

If the screen is black but on, as opposed to black because it is off, check to see if your timer is set to turn the tv off.

I bought just the black plastic button part, LC20674-001A-A from in '07 for $4.86. If that's what you need, I think it's still available.
I am looking for SGV-4011A and having a hard time.
