Yes... the sensor is located at the front panel of the TV, but before you get the sensor need to open first the back cover of your unit... after you open the unit please take a picture and upload here to see where is sensor located... the sensor is located in inside of the front panel!

Will the crankshaft senor stop the car from starting

Yes, a bad sensor will do that. Reason is, the computer needs the crank sensor information to compute spark timing. With no sensor input, the computer will not cause spark to occur.

I have a D-VR7KC2 DVD VIDEO RECORDER. Is there any way to hook it up, so that I can record a channel, while watching another channel? I have a digital cable box. I don't mind only being able to record non...

The short answer is "yes", but it really depends on your TV having more than one input.

You would put a cable splitter (see Google images) on the wire that comes out of the wall. One of the OUT connections would be to the cable box, and the other would go directly to your Toshiba unit.

Depending on the outputs of your cable box, and the inputs of your TV, each unit would be connected to a TV input either by cable or video connections. You would then switch back and forth between the input from the cable box - when you wanted to watch live, digital TV - or the Toshiba when you wanted to set up/watch recordings.

Bought a Soney KDL-46EX500 last week. Still tring to get it set up. Got the digital local stations programed into it today. (finally) Now I can not figure out how to switch back and forth from locals...

Looking at a diagram of the back of your TV I see that you have only one Coax input. You will need to plug either your antenna or the DirecTV in one of the other sources available on the back of the TV.
According to DirecTV's website, their box also uses composite video cables and depending on the age of that box, may have an HDMI connection also.
Looking at the back of your TV, the composite video cable input is the top two rows to the right of the Coax input you are currently using.
Once you have both connected to different inputs, you can use your remote to switch between the sources and watch whichever you like.

Back channel turn off and on

Same problem with the 2.1 channel DRA-297. All sound cuts off and screen reads h/p input. I don't even know what that means. What's wrong here?

When it happens, the receiver makes a clicking noise. it goes back and forth from being on to h/p input shutdown. sounds like someone repeatedly flicking a lightswitch.

Thanks to whoever can help!

Panasonic tv 27"

I not familiar with this model but, If the video select button is below the screen. I would suspect "windex damage"! Cleaning screen by spraying directly on crt causes this is some sets. The button gets corroded or part of this circuit. If this is the case, replace/ inspect/clean around switches.
Protection diode(s),capacitor across switch, faulty switch or bad processor input are other causes.
