Yes... the sensor is located at the front panel of the TV, but before you get the sensor need to open first the back cover of your unit... after you open the unit please take a picture and upload here to see where is sensor located... the sensor is located in inside of the front panel!

Thanks!

I haven't had a remote for my Symphonic T.V> in the couple years I have had it, but I have always used it to play video games on. I have never had this problem before, but now I can't get to...

Here is the manual for your TV. I see a Game Mode when referring to Picture control, but I'm guessing you are trying to get it to switch the the RCA input for Video/Audio on the front of the TV for your game console. Doesn't look like there is anything on the TV specifically, as it references the remote to press "Game" mode. But I would try scrolling down through the channels. Sometimes TV's have the auxiliary input below channel "1" or "0".

How do you switch to video mode with no remote

hi,
you cant.
your going to have to get a mid priced universal with extended features. read the packaging. thrift stores sometimes have a bag wall with old remotes so if you have someone who goes to the thrift store sometimes tell them to start looking for either a vcr or tv remote that says emerson on it for you. directv and dish network universals have video input buttons, if you have eith of those providers go to their website, download or find the chapter where it shows how to set up your viseo input. it is shut off by default..

Watching DVD

Make sure you have a video connection from the back of the DVD player going to one of the video inputs at the back of the TV. These are usually marked as "video 1" "video 2" etc. and you'd connect to it generally with a yellow cable (although it's not important the color it's just to keep things straight) and then switch your input to the correct one (video 1 or 2 whichever one you connected to). On the back of the DVD player it'll be labeled either "video out" or " monitor out".

Panasonic tv 27"

I not familiar with this model but, If the video select button is below the screen. I would suspect "windex damage"! Cleaning screen by spraying directly on crt causes this is some sets. The button gets corroded or part of this circuit. If this is the case, replace/ inspect/clean around switches.
Protection diode(s),capacitor across switch, faulty switch or bad processor input are other causes.

Video Input

If you have the original remote, you can switch from the TV tuner to the audio/video input with the INPUT button. It is to the left of zero on the numeric keypad, above the CLEAR button. Press it again to get back to the TV tuner.
