You have posted to the wrong group, but what you can try to do is to free the pulley system that the carriage rides on that is the problem.

Post to the proper group next time, you request will be answered by someone whos primary skill is in that area.

I hope this helps

Thank you,

Installing a lamp in the Hitachi 50V710 projection TV

The lamp is on the bottom left side. Remove the plastic piece that goes across the TV below the screen. It will snap off. No screws. Remove 2 screws to access the lamp carriage.
Make sure you DO NOT touch the new lamp with your bare hands.

Selphy 720 !st card pass.card stopped partway by power lead-carelessly placed.no paper jam.But display now permanently shows paper jam symbol- not cleared by off/on. no function from any button. ...

Start first unplugging power for ten minutes, and see if it clears the error.

If it does not inspect the printer for paper or foreign objects, take out cartridge and put it back, see if this helps.

Sharp model dv-rw 360h video deck jams with loud clicking noises when carriage lifts?

Hi thanks for the email, i would like to point out that the Sharp model in question is not a television but a video/dvd combi. And the answer to the problem is to remove the vcr deck and replace and realign the cassette carriage loading gears.Hope this helps others with the same problem.

I have a philips antenna rotor that will not work.the rotor and control were syncronized, but the rotor will not turn on command. I ran 18/3 thermastat wire, is that fine or what.....help

Had the same problem with mine, so I took it apart and it turned out to be the internal Gears, they reach the max stop position and they jam up. You need to loosen the 4 main bolts, the bigger ones inside, just loosen them up enough to rotate the base by hand. At the same time they are loose and turning the base, you need to retighten them little by little. I found this centers and loosens the rotor base again. It worked for a year and a half, but then jammed up again. This time, it was the ball bearing just below the Gear cover. So I replaced it... had a hard time finding the little ******, but I did and it works fine so far. So you should be ok with just loosening it for now. Good Luck!!

When I try to print on A4 paper the Canon printer pulls on the right side of the paper only and it jams. I can still print on the small sheets (A5?) or on my 4 x 6 photo paper.

Check to see if this will affect your guarantee and if so would probably not go ahead with it.

Protect yourself from shock by disconnecting the power cord from the back of the Canon printer.

Unhinge the back access panel of the printer. .
Look through the opened back panel and look for paper or any other object that should not be there. Remove any paper or obstacle you find jammed there.
Close the back access panel. Make sure that it latches back into place.
Find the front or top access panel. This is the panel you would lift to change ink cartridges. Open this access panel and look for paper or any other object that should not be there
. Remove any paper or object you find jammed here. If you find paper pull slowly or the paper will rip and create a major problem.
Close the front access panel. Make sure that it latches back in place.

Put the power back on..
