Hey I have a 2001 Oldsmobile aurora v8 4.0 trying to located my engine temperature sensor for my car n my o2 sensors also please help

Your Temp sensor may be hidden behind Your housing unit for the thermostat, and the O2 Sensor are alway screwed into the exhaust there is an upper and lower O2 sensor meaning Upper is up high on the exhaust near the engine and the lower one is down by the catalytic converter.

3.8 engine I have done few times,belt out,make way how goes,15mm. socket pull down to release belt,look what hold and remove all 15 mm. bolts.look wires and way go back.

Codes only indicate a fault has been detected & a code set

They don't tell you what is wrong or to replace anything

Component testing will indicate the presence of a problem

You will find the cam sensor located in the front of the right cylinder head.The sensor will be just below the lip of the valve cover and held in by a 10 mm. headed bolt. It is either on the front of the rear cylinder head or behind the starter,you have to remove the starter to replace the cam sensor.
