Question about Nintendo DS Console

DS Battery Problem

I probably bought my DS Lite about a year and a half ago. I haven't played in months, but had an urge lately. I tried to go ahead and charge it, but the orange charge light would only go on for a couple of seconds. If I take the plug out and plug it back in, the light will go on for a few seconds, but fade. I thought it might be the battery, so I purchased another one, but it still nothing. Then I purchased a new adapter, but it keeps doing the same thing.

Any thoughts?

It's your charging port, it's not charging the battery

I bought a nintendo ds lite a month ago and the last week or so, the touch screen has become really shaky. Can I get it repaired or is it something that can't be fixed?

Hi did you buy it new or second hand?

If you bought it new I would bring it back to the shop you purchased it in as it would be under guarantee and they should replace it or repair it for you at no cost to yourself.

If its second hand some of the phone repair shops also do computer and console repairs its worth checking out.

Go to the retailer you bought it from and if you bought it less than two years ago you can get a new one free with the exchange of the old one only if you have the warranty

Nintendo DS shuts off randomly

try to play with the poweradapter connected. If the problem still there you will need probably a new mainboard for your nintendo. If the problem disappears probably a bad battery is the problem. If you can exchange your battery with another NDS lite you can check if it is the battery or mainboard.

Yep three years is a long time, your battery is probably dead. You should buy another one and you should be good to go.

DS Lite Won't Work Until it "Warms" Up- Like 15 mintues

Err...Is it too late to return the Ds or trade it in for a new one? Because, if it is messed up you can probably return it to wherever you got it. Also, you can probably take it to Gamestop and have them fix it for around 20 dollars.
