Question about Monster Cable MPA3250SS 3-Channel Amplifier
I bought a Monster mpa 3250 in 2004 and it has worked fine until recently. I had a tech out from Ultimate Electronic and we discovered a hum when the speakers were hooked up. He said it was a ground issue inside the amp and to send it back to Monster. I weighs 100+ lbs. and I would have to ship it from Las Vegas to Virginia for analysis. Any ideas on what I could do myself? I am not electronics savy but have friends who are. Thanks.
Not to discount what your tech has already said, there are a few things that can cause hum. Just want to get info direct from you regarding this problem. Then, I can attempt to point you in the right direction if you can provide me with answers of a few questions

Turn off the led on the front that should take care of the hum.
