Question about HP Photosmart R725 Digital Camera

Restart problem On my camera it says please restart camera . And i don`t know how to. Can you list the steps too restart it. :]

Resetting the camera is very easy. First open the battery cover, there is a hole inbetween the sd card slot and the battery release switch. use something that will fit in that hole and press down on it until you feel a click. Hold it for about 3 seconds.

Hello!

Please, make sure your camera is installed:
  1. Start>right click Computer>Manage>Device Manager
  2. Try to find your camera in the list of drivers.
  • If not there, it is not installed, so in that case go to this link: http://www.trust.com/products/product.aspx?artnr=14382 and download the driver (right bottom of the page>quick links>download driver)
  • If there, check if it is marked with yellow triangle: if yes, right click on it and Uninstall, then restart computer and install the camera using the downloaded driver: double click on the driver, and Run>Allow/Continue>plug in the camera if prompted. When installation is done, unplug the camera and restart computer.
3. If you only want to check is your camera works properly: follow the steps from 1., find the camera in the list of drivers, right click on it>Properties>General tab and you will see the information. If you find the camera is not working properly, uninstall it like in 2.b., restart and reinstall the camera following steps provided in 2.b.

I have a creative webcam ,when i connect it to the system,it is not being detected, i dont have drivers also, the drivers are beinginstalled automatically,but afterwards ,installation incomplete it is...

1. I would like you check if there are any previous installed drivers for your camera. Please, follow these steps:
  • Start>Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall a Program; try to find your camera in the list: a) if it is not there, then it is not installed; b) if it is there, please uninstall it: click on the camera name to highlight it, and then click Uninstall/Change, restart your computer when uninstalling is done.
  • Also check following: Start>right click Computer>Manage>Device Manager; try to find your camera in the list of drivers-if not there, it is fine; if it is there, please, right click on it, click Uninstall, wait until done and restart your computer.
2. Now you need to download driver for your camera:
  • Go to this link: http://us.creative.com/products/welcomenew.asp?category=218
  • Click on Support>click Web Cameras>choose your camera from the list and click on it.
  • NOTE at the bottom of the page: "If your product is not listed above, please click here."
  • After you click on your product (the camera you have), please click on "All downloads" at the right bottom of short listed downloads for a product.
  • Review list of downloads-drivers and applications, download driver (!) and also some applications if you need.
  • Double click on the downloaded file and click Run>Continue/Allow. Wait while installing is finished. During the installation you might need to plug your camera if prompted.
  • After the process is done, unplug your camera and restart computer
  • It should work now.
  • I also recommend you to follow steps from 1.b. and go to Device Manager, find your camera driver in the list, right click on it and click Update. If driver is Updated you will have to restart.

Hi! i have fujitsu siemens AMILO laptop..computer can't detect my camera..i think i need new driver.please help!

1. Please reinstall your camera:

  • Start>right click Computer>Manage>Device Manager (in the right pane). Try to find your camera driver there, and if there right click on it>Uninstall>restart computer when uninstalling done.
  • Insert the driver CD for your camera>double click Driver>Run>Continue/Allow. Plug your camera if prompted and continue.
  • Unplug the camera when installing is done and restart computer.
  • Check if your camera works (should work now).
2. I recommend you to update your drivers as Fujitsu Siemens has updated most of them. This will take time, but will also spare you troubles in future.

  • Please, follow steps from 1.a. and right click on each driver (one by one) and click Update.
  • You will have to restart probably each time a driver is updated, but if there is option "Restart later" you can choose it and restart your computer when finish all updates.
  • The above can also be done with Desk Updater, or using Drivers and Utilities CD, but sometimes no driver is updated that way, so it is better to do one by one as I described above.
  • If there are some missing drivers, please go to http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/com/support/downloads.html
  • Enter the Serial-/Identnumberwhich you can find at the bottom side of your computer written on the big white AMILO sticker with a smaller sticker on it, for example:  Ser.Nr. abcd 123456
  • You will have to select product line too-find it on the same AMILO sticker: there is the AMILO logo and right next to it you will find your product line, for example Amilo Pa/Li etc, written in a very small size font.
  • Now fujitsu support site will take you to available products. Choose what you need (and what you need you can know by comparing your Device Manager list with the available list on the site (if you have more then listen on the site, do not worry about it).

Please go to HP official site http://www.hp.com/
Mouse over this tab: and choose "Support & Drivers" (the last one in the list), click on it.
Click on the green box "Drivers and Software" enter the product name or number (if you don't know it-just in case-click on Detect Your Product icon).
Download the driver and install (double click on downloaded driver>run>plug in the camera if prompted>continue/allow installation. Unplug the camera before you restart your computer. restart your computer.

My cam not working

I would like to hear more details, so please write again and describe your problem.

I also recommend you to try following:
1. Uninstall your camera:
  1. Start>Control Panel>Programs>Uninstall a program
  2. Scroll down and find your camera in the list of programs, click on it
  3. Click "Uninstall/Change
  4. Confirm uninstalling
  5. Restart your computer
2. Reinstall the camera:
  • Insert your camera CD and plug in/connect the camera to computer. If the program starts installing automatically, then just wait and confirm if prompted. After the installation is complete:
  • restart computer, plug in the camera-it should be automatically recognized and work fine.
A. In case the installation does not start automatically, follow these steps:
  • Insert your camera CD and plug in/connect the camera to computer.
  • Click on Computer (on your desktop OR start>computer)>double click on DVD RW Drive (OR when the CD inserted a pop-up window appears, so click on "Open folder to view files")>double click on icon marked as ".exe" which is executive file. The installation will start, and you only confirm/continue/allow if prompted.
  • After the installation is complete, restart your computer, plug in the camera-it should be automatically recognized and work fine.
3. I also recommend you to visit this link, because I suspect your camera driver is not compatible with your Operating System since there is a short list of Operating Systems compatible with your camera.

  • select your Operating System (if not listed, then my suspicions are true and you can only contact support on the same site to possible link you to update downloads for your camera drive. If your Operating System is listed then follow the steps below:)
  • select the device (camera)
  • you will get a list of possible downloads and I recommend you to download the "utilities" one as I assume u do have the drive (if you don't have the camera drive at all and that is the reason for it not working, then download the drive from the same site and follow installation steps from 2.)
  • Run the downloaded drive-it should update your camera's drive.
4. In the end, check following:
  • Start>right click Computer>Properties>choose Device Manager in the left pane and see if there is any item marked with yellow triangle or something similar (just making it different than others)
  • Now you have two options: 1. right click on the item>Properties>Check for solutions, and then wait until you get the report from Microsoft;
2. right click on the item>Uninstall and close it. Then run Windows Update and install updates. Windows Update you can find when click on Start and in the search pane type Windows Update, click on it when appears, choose "Check for Updates" and wait until the program finds updates, install updates and restart computer.

I. Reinstall the driver:
Right click on My Computer (XP)/Computer (Vista) icon on the Desktop, click on Properties, the on Devices, then in the devices list look for your camera (you might have to open the branches to see it). You may find it under a branch named ‘Image Processing Devices’ or something similar (I don’t know the exact wording, because my system is not English).
Select your camera entry and then double click on it. Under the Driver tab, select Update driver and choose Reinstall Driver and then the second option ‘Look for Device Software in the Computer”.

II. If that doesn't solve your problem, download and install the most update driver from TOSHIBA support pages:
  1. Start here: http://downloads.sourceforge.net/sevenzip/7z465.exe
  2. Click on 'Download'
  3. Select your product Category (Laptops), Family (Satellite) and Model (A305D-S6848) and press GO
  4. Refine your search by selecting your computer system OS and by selecting 'Multimedia' in the Category list box.
  5. Download the camera utility.
  6. Install it

How do I view and/or download the pictures taken with my digital camera my computer?


Once you have properly connected your camera to your computer (see FAQ #2 listed above), your computer will see your camera (connected and powered on) as a disk drive - most likely listed as "removable disk." Now that you know where to look to find the images, they can be viewed and/or downloaded in a variety of programs.
