It is kind of funny, but yesterday I had the same problem as a previous writter. ...My 4ET is filled about a 1/4 with water. I can push drain and spin and that cycle works, but it then refills to 1/4 ish full. (the first time this happened, it was completely full and yes, spilled all over when I opened the door.) i have tried the drain and spin and even bailed it out several times but it keeps re-filling itself. please help!.
I unplugged it for over 2 hours, plugged it in and drained the water. After 10 minutes, it started to fill up with water. The machine is less than 3 years old.

This has been happening to our washer as well. There is also a bad smell.
water trickles into my washer. If I don't check it, it could overflow. However it doesn't always happen, it will do it for a few days and then magically stop and month later it will happen again.
yes, I just had the same problem. The washer was off and suddenly we noticed water in tub that overflowed all over our garage floor. No leaks in any of the hoses.

Same problem....filling with water between loads. I can hear the water "running" and I have to get my clothes out as soon as the load stops or they get full of water before I have time to get them to the dryer. Did anyone find a fix for this?
Same problem. I'll go to do some laundry and there will already be water in the washer. I'm also noticing blue liquid leaking down the rubber ring of the washer when there shouldn't be any liquid in there. HELP!

Same problem here. In between loads the washer "sometimes" patially fills with water.
Mine is an Elite HE3t 42922 but is doing the same thing at about 4 yrs. old. Don't expect any help from SEARS. Stay clear of CRAFTSMAN LT1000 riding mowers too as transmissions fail and SEARS does not stand by the junk they sell any more!

We have the same problem, in between washing days the washing machine fills up with water, however, it is random. Some days it happens, some times it doesn't, although it is getting more frequent.To date we have been lucky and it has not overflown, but we are worried that it may. No solutions yet???
